Question:
Can I say crap in my comic? I know it's not a big deal, but I just wanted to be sure.

Though you can probably use it, could you think of something...a little more...nicer yet still funny?

I used the word, as an ARC Fighter ate it in the 4th panel...

Check the second page for the link, it's on there somewhere.

You can use words that would get by in this forum.

And no, I better not see a reply where you're testing what words can and can't get through the filter.

In the original post, oddly enough, Ace wrote:

Prize package: The prize for this webcomic will be a black and white, hand-drawn LEGO Star Wars character of your choice, drawn by none other than comics guru Greg Hyland. Drawing will be done with black ink on 8.5x11 piece of paper, suitable for framing (winner is responsible for all framing). The piece will be one of a kind since YOU, the winner, get to pick what character you'd like to see and receive. Piece will be signed by the artist.

That's a fantastic prize!

One thing that occurred to me while putting together my submission was how cool it would be if Greg Hyland did a hand-drawn interpretation of the winning strip for FBTB and the original copy went to the winner.

Something possibly to consider for future webcomic contests (and of course, Greg's time willing, I know what a busy, busy man he is and that a full web-strip takes much, much, much longer than a single character sketch...)

Is there any other information needed with the e-mail entry other than your name? (contact information?)

Just... read... the rules.

Seriously. If it doesn't say in the rules, then don't include it.

I have my entry all completed and ready to e-mail, the problem is that I'm not sure what size to use for the comic. I know there was guidelines and tempelates, to follow in the first page but whenever I downloaded them to word they would change size, if you need to you can just change the e-mail picture. The format is the same so it should not be a problem.

This tells you what the size should be...

They are the rules. READ THEM!

The trick is not to use Word. The only file format submissions are (were!?) accepted in is JPG.

JPGs require an image editing program like photoshop or paint shop pro or even MS-Paint.

I would have liked to enter this contest but The Gimp isn't working on my computer and I do not have an image alterring program (Not even MS Paint). I had a fair idea too, shucks!
