The Revenge Begins...
Star Wars Clone Wars Volume II on Cartoon Network begins tonight at 7:00 p.m. Each nightly chapter is 10 minutes long.

A new chapter each weeknight this week at 7:00 and all five of them replayed Saturday night at 8:00 p.m. They'll replay them again before the movie is released but these are the only dates they list so far.

Makes me wish I had cable.

Though at the same time, it makes me glad I have a Hyperspace membership. Smile

Okay so somebody straighten this out for me. Volume I comes with the first 20 episodes. Which were each divided into 10. After Episodes 21-30 and then hopefully all the way to 40 are released, there will more than likely be another DVD. Am I right? I'm just asking because I don't want overlapping DVDs and all of that sort. Even though logic tells me they wouldn't ever in the first place, it's good to have your guys' opinions.

I just checked the TV paper; in England it's showing on Toonami at 4 + 6pm all this week (which means I missed the first one Mad ) and are all repeated on Friday 5:30 ( Very Happy )

And another question, I just looked at sw.c and it says the episodes are 3 minutes long, not 10. I'm so confused. Back when I had Hyperspace I think they were only 3 minutes long as well. Ahhhh! And I guess there's only going to be 5 new episodes, so why didn't they just wait and put them all on the same DVD?

Each day at 8 am, 4pm and 6 there is a half an hour program which is two episodes mashed together.
This means it first shows at 8 am and repeats at 4 and 6pm.

By the way this is the times for Uk. I saw the first episode today and it is wicked. The clone gunship that attacks grevious is awsome. But what is going to happen to Anakin.....

Each of the new episodes is 10 minutes long, Adam. The first season was made up of 3 minute-ish episodes.

And they didn't put the new ones on the DVD because they hadn't confirmed yet whether or not there would be another season. Either that, or they're just looking to make as much money as possible. Whatever, I still like 'em, and I'm still buyin' 'em. Smile

Yeah so to sum up tomorrow the first season dvd comes out with 20 - 3min episodes (total of 60min).

Season two that starts to air tonight on CN consists of 5 - 10min episodes (total of 50min) that are rumored to be released on dvd right before the movie hits theaters.

Technically they're supposed to be twelve minutes long so hey work out to be 60 minutes total. (5x12) But by their conception of time who knows!

Just finished watching the new episode 21 tonight.

Wow!

I mean, wow!

I loved it! There was a ton of dialogue, great Arc Trooper scenes, and an all around great show. It really had a good Star Wars feel to it.

I can't wait for the next one.

Oh yeah. 21 rocked!

The only thing that caught me was that Anakin said "Jedis aren't supposed to get married." You'd think he'd know that the plural of Jedi is Jedi. But hey, even Lucas himself pronounces stuff wrong. Hehe.

Yes, on with the dialogue! Mace's voice was dead on or did SLJ actually provide the voice?

The clones were excellent! I loved the armory. 3PO was nice to see, especially back to the original gold plating. Another of my favorite scenes was when all the Jedi were debating if Anakin should be considered a Knight. That scene would've been nice in Episode III but it would definitely slow down the plot a bit.

Just saw it on Hyperspace. AWESOME stuff! The ARC Trooper stuff was killer, especially those two that had the gatling gun and portable quad laser cannon. Wicked!

Looking forward to tomorrow night. That duel between Dooku and Grievous looks really sweet. Very Happy

caught that too did ya? so weird. my favorite part was the knighting ceremony, where Yoda cuts off the braid. wicked cool! but what do they do for Jedi without hair? anyways, loved it.

Pretty awesome. I caught the show just as the ARC troopers were running down what seemed to be a trench... is that where the episode started? Well, I saw the majority of it... and the rumors about Qui-gon seem to be true judging by his appearance in this clone wars episode.

Man those ARCs are awsome. I love how they varied the guns, and customized the gunship(who else sees Hasbro making one of these?). Love scene....who cares IMO. Can't wait for it tonight.

PS if you are in another country could you at least put "Spoiler" before talking about Ep 22 if it is already been shown.

My fav part was Anakin in the depths of Coruscant. Surrounded by great music and all those colorful, mostly ugly aliens. Says alot when you see Anakin look at his reflection, and you think, "The Empire wiped out entire planets and enslaved millions of aliens because they were non-human." You think Anakin has a growing distaste for alien species? Dunno, (esp with his aside with Jar Jar in AOTC) but I should hope to see how Gendy andn Lucas treat the subject.

"Impressive. Most impressive." Was great. And brilliant. I should hope to hear Anakin develop the kind of Vader-esque dialog absent throughout AOTC. Hear are a few must haves:

"Im on the leader. Cover me"

To Obi Wan: "If only you understood the power of the Dark Side"

(With arm outstrecthed and pointing) To Clone Trooper/Clone Commander: "Surround the building. No one is to escape. Bring all the survivors to me."

Give us more one-liners!

i cought something last night

for all you that have the art of star wars Episode II, go to the designs for characters for coruscants lower levels, ill find the page later, now look for one with a guy, with a clear bubble helmet holding onto a rope of a large walking creature, on two legs,

no look at episode 21 of CW last night, when anakins in the lower levels, a side view of him, that same guy and creature walk buy, just like in the art of, very neat little things

ill edit this later with more points
