I've been thinking about buying this game, i've checked Gamefaqs.com and IGN.com.. but i'd like an educated consumer's opinion on this game. Very Happy

Time and again I try and hold on to the fact that i'm a Nintendo Fan, I only have a Gamecube, but i'm tired of loosing Battlefront, Starcraft: Ghost and Soulcalibur III to the Xbox.

Well that's a tricky situation, if you really want my honest opinion about Clone Wars, it's not that good Sad Gameplay gets a little old after a while, and they try to mix in some on foot combat which doesn't really do it for you IMO Confused

It did like Clone Wars but it can't compare to Battlefront. The only really bad point about Clone Wars is the fact you only get 2 missions on foot and the rest just piloting ships.

Clone Wars ain't that great, to be honest. It's fun to play with a friend sometimes, but that's about all it has going for it in my mind.

I agree with Obi-1. And if you have the money to spare, get a PS2 or Xbox and get Battlefront II - it's better in every way.

Clone Wars was good the first time around playing it but for most of the missions, I don't see a replay value. Try (like mentioned) the Rogue Squadron series. The latest rendition has some on foot missions if that's your thing.

I've played all Rogue Squadrons for the GC so far, I love the Games but i've already played them, I nearly had a hard attack when I needed to destroy two Star Destroyers at once.

I agree. I have it, an once I'd completed it I didn't want to play it again, except maybe the 2 player.

I have it, and after a while, it DOES get boring, just like Firespray said. I'd be willing to trade my PS2 copy if you might have something that interests me (preferably legos, nothing else, no money deals).
