Hi,
I will buy a PS2 very soon and think about which game(s) I want to have.
I am more a play-alone-player, never did play online yet.
So which game is better for the beginning?
Lego Star Wars or Battlefront?
thanks

Based on that alone ^, I'd say LEGO SW.
Keep in mind they're two totally different games though. If you're used to Mario or Ratchet & Clank, I'd definitely go with LEGO SW (though it's an incredibly short game). If you enjoy FPSs like the the Battlefield or Tribes series, then I'd suggest SW Battlefront. Battlefront is likely to be the cheaper of the two, if that has any bearing on your decision. Are you sure you'll be able to get your PS2 online? Something else to consider if you go with Battlefront-- it's only so much fun to play the game by yourself before you want other people to play with.

I am used to Mario (I had once a SNES and a Gameboy)

I read a few online reviews at Amazon and playstation.com and it sounds very interesting...
Cheaper-today in a shop I've seen both games for 29,99 each

I think that too, once I started I want to play online as well.
But it sounds not very difficult to get the PS2 online. I already have a computer with USB-modem, broadband and networking-card. So I only need a crossover-cable for connecting PS2 and PC.

because I want Worms 3D and NHL or FIFA 2006 as well. And I don't have so much money to buy all the games. So I have to decide and to look which of the games is the best for me.

Okay let's see here
Battlefront
$20
Lego Star Wars
$30
That's EBgames' price for a new game. Make sure if you get lego star wars make sure you get the new slim ps2, the old ones don't work as well with the blue disks. |

Go ahead and buy Lego Star Wars. I thought it was great and I don't know about Battlefront. I'm getting it in two days for my birthday. |

Battlefront? I would wait for Battlefront 2 to come out. But hey, that's just me. _________________ Johnny B. Good!

That's not true i have a first year realease PS2. all the original games were blue discs. Have not had a problem with any games at all. And I also play my games online. So the choice of game you want is all up to you. |

I got Lego Star Wars for 24 Euro a few minutes ago!
I'll wait with Battlefront till Battlefron 2 is there.
Will it be the same as Battlefront 1 plus the space battles?

Not exactly the same.
For a start, as well as new space battles, there's new maps, an extra class for each faction, Episode III content, the chance to play as 17 different Hero characters (e.g. Yoda, Darth Maul, Jango Fett), as well as a serious graphics overhaul and a revamped single-player campaign.
There's also a completely restyled Galactic Conquest mode, and Temeura Morrison* himself is the voice of the clones in the Story campaign.
*Temeura Morrison played Jango Fett in Ep. II, and the clones in Ep. III.
However, BF1 is still awesome. When you have enough, get it as well, because some maps from there won't be in the second game. _________________ ~Akaia~ |

I got Star Wars Lego today. It is cool and cute this game!
It's fun how the controller vibrates if you use the force or the lightsaber.
