Hey! just wondering what sets you would like lego to redo I.E. X-wing, Millenium Falcon style. I would like to see a new a-wing done more streamlined and with more white peices like the X-wing. A b-wing remake would also be cool.

EDIT: Sorry If I threw You off by the title.

For the millionth time, I think the AT-ST set is the most elected choice by the SW LEGO fans for a remake, B-Wing comes second.

The first AT-ST was crap. I'd love to see this set get a second version.

Yeah, the AT-ST definitely needs a makeover.

Among those that don't mind redesigns (rereleases are another story), the AT-ST is definitely first on the list. The B-Wing and A-Wing are probably pretty darn high up there too.

B-Wing first! (It's my favourite OT starfighter!) AT-ST second!

I think the original A-Wing model was just fine. Its a really nice model, and it is pretty much to scale when compared to the other ships.

What about a Battle of Endor set combining the B-Wing and A-Wing?

A battle of endor set would be cool. I think the last A-wing was not streamlined enough and could use a good makeover. An at-st would be nice too, to go with the AT-AT

The atst was the worst piece of crap Lego has ever made, and the A-wing needs claner lines.

Yes, but a COMPLETE AT-ST: Imperial driver included...

Also, come on with generosity: an additional Ewok or storm trooper is always welcomed. Very Happy

I kind of liked the AT-ST. No it wasn't the best set, but it doesn't deserve the thrashing it takes around here. I must not be alone in this, as I saw it going for $50+ on ebay the other day, with several days left for bidding.

So folks whats wrong with the existing AT-ST? Too small? Wrong scale? No imperial troops?
I think it's a nice little playable set for many people. It might be a little disappointing for display tho......

I'd vote B Wing to be re-made.

The scale heightwise of the AT-ST compared with the minifig is about perfect. The disappointment comes from the design, which wasn't accurate enough. The "ice-skating" leg mechanism was awful and the head was too rectangular.

I think I will be buying several of the Ep2 walkers and trying my hand at converting them to an AT-ST. The Ep2 Walker's legs look much improved.

No, the AT-ST is that bad. It really needs a makeover.

I like it too, but it could use an update. For me, it comes as a very close second to the X-Wing as my favorite SW ship. I wouldn't mind seeing a new one using some of the new elements that have been introduced since 2000.

Hell, let's throw in a Wedge piloted X-Wing while we're at it and make it a collector's set. Smile

The reason people bash the AT-ST is because its's not in true scale, the right colors, and people want AT-ST pilot.

I also second the motion for a redesigned A-Wing. At first I didn't like the idea of a redesigned X-Wing, but after comparing the two you see a considerable difference. I would love to see a more accurate A-Wing like the mocs on brickshelf.

AT-ST = grey. There's not all that much brown or tan in the System set, if that's what the big deal is. Do people want it all grey and dkgrey? Just never heard that argument before. ConfusedShocked

Well if you quoted all I said as to the reasons most people disliked the AT-ST you might understand more. It wasn't accurate. About all that was close was the shape and the grey. I just think LEGO could've pulled it off better then. But when you think about the sets were either hit or miss when the liscense first started. Who knows, it's probably a high possibility that we'll see another AT-ST before the end of '07.

*sigh*

I wasn't knocking your post, calm down. And what I took from your quote was completely in context... You said it didn't get the colors right, I asked what you would've done to MAKE them right.

What I asked had nothing to do with the rest of your post, nor me "understanding more," thus I didn't bother including it. Rolling Eyes It was simply a reply to your one comment about color, and a follow-up question as to why you thought that.

Sheesh.

Well, I too think the first AT-ST wasn't that bad. Like someone mentionned, scale wise, the LEGO version is practically dead on when it comes to height.

So considering this, you can't really make the head any bigger without adding to the height (you see too many AT-ST with a much too large head on Brickshelf). The only thing you could really change about this set is the leg system, and I do think that the way the new Clone walker legs are build is the way to go.

To get back on topic, I would love to see a redesigned B-Wing, because the LEGO version was really out of scale and lacking some bulkinest that fighter/bomber really deserves.

B-Wing first just because I never got it when it origionally came out Crying or Very sad. Then AT-ST because I think it looks like crap and I want a pilot as said before Very Happy.

Other than that, I think a new ATT for CW would be cool sense the frist one was a little small.
