Merry Christmas everyone! So lets hear it, what was your haul this year? What booty was left under your tree? What swag did you get your gritty paws on?

For my mom we bought her a 50mm Nikkor lens for portraits, and we took it out of the box and replaced the lens with a can of spam, and then we put a can of spam in four other boxes, just to mess with her mind, so she opens the four boxes with the spam, then the lens box with the spam in it, then the last box has a can of spam on top and the lens beneath it, it's gonna be a fun mornin Very Happy

I got a bathrobe (with the traditional Ostrobothian Jussi pattern, which is nice), a CD of a Finnish gospel band, Spore: Cute and Creepy parts pack, some odd soda, candies and quite a lot of dried fruits. Also, I got the The Force Unleashed comic book (in Finnish, though) and a wooden fish necklace (you know, the ><>), which I'm wearing even at the very moment.

That's about it, really. Not a bad catch in my opinion.

In addition, Emperor: my elder brother had a similar idea of tricking our parents, by putting some fruits into their present and then claiming them - before they would open it - that "this is a present we ourselves got from our own forest, with pain and trouble".
Didn't execute the idea, though. Razz

I got a Samsung s850, Gator Zs, money, clothes, MLB for the PS3 and bunches of other stuff.

And two schweet aviation history books to read at Encampment. Nothing better to have at an Air Force Cadet Boot Camp than books about epic Aerospace fails, and wins. But seriously, I got a whole book on aerospace fails. With pictures. Awesome. Razz

I mean, with a gift like that, how could I not be happy?

So far, a nice 20 dollar cabinet that has 30 smaller drawers and 9 bigger ones, so I can now sort my LEGO by part type. Some twizzelers, 35 dollars cash, a new Quiksilver hoodie, and Season 1 of Heroes DVD (My sis roxzorz). And that's just Christmas eve. Razz

No LEGO Sad

But I got some fantastic comedy DVDs, some gift cards, some cash and a cheque.

But I'm still happy, I gave some pretty frakin' sweet gifts this year as well. So all is good, and, spending time with my whole family (dad's side) for Christmas lunch and the rest of the day. Can not wait.

I got a lot of great things.
From my dear parents: a laptop bag from George, Gina & Lucy, a whole bowl of fresh cherries (I <3 cherries and they are so expensive in winter), a lot of my favourite sweets

From my great brother: two ornaments for Webkinz, an Amazon gift certificate and a certificate for the Gentle Giant Series 1 Star Wars Bust-ups (he got it from a French ebay seller who was not able to send it in time)

From my awesome friends: Christmas Pudding, the DVD "Legend of Hammer Vampires", a doggie cardholder, Mini Anakin's Starfighter, a self-designed Lego Model named Crab Droid, a Chicago Cubs pennant, some very expensive looking chocolate pralines, another Webkinz ornament, 2 Star Wars ornaments from the Hallmark Series (The Death Star and the Star Destroyer!)

From me: DC Direct 1:6 Deluxe Joker, Lego AT-TE, Lego RGS, Lego V19-Torrent (if German Amazon sells Lego for nearly 50%, I just can't resist Wink )

My dog got a huge fresh bone (picked up at the butcher), which she just ignored. I don't know why, and was really disappointed about that. I was looking forward so much, giving her that huge bone, and imagined how she would eat it joyfully all night, but one smell, one lick, and that was all.
I gave it this morning to her best friend Kira. I hope she likes it better.

Yay first time in over seven years that I'm getting LEGO for Christmas. I got the Droid Gunship set, and the Cafe Corner! And just like Andi stated in the other thread, gifts were open on Christmas even in the afternoon.

Merry Christmas everyone!

No LEGO. Apparently mom went on an anti-LEGO crusade while I was off at school, and was not pleased when I came home with more.

I got a digital camera, which was really all I wanted, two vests (one flannel, one... sleeping bag material), The Dark Knight DVD, several of these finger puppets (the Hamlet set, Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln and Obama, as much as it pained my mother) and lots and lots of gift cards and cash. Friends and family pretty much only get those for me, since I don't really like... anything. Haha. But the generic gift cards -- the VISA or Mastercard ones -- are very nice. I see a trip to the LEGO store in the near future.

Top to bottom, left to right. This seems to be the Christmas of replacing things I have/had with better versions of them. I'm stoked.

(Sorta pictured on top of the box) New Beatle boots. I wore out my old ones, so there's shiny new ones! Except that I'm terrified to wear them because they're so shiny and new.

Record/CD/Tape/iPod/Radio Player. My old phonograph finally gave out, so they got me a new one with a bunch more stuff, including a tape deck. I am soooo ready to face the musical world.

A new strappy leather watch. My old one broke, so I got a cool new one!

Cologne. My favorite old cologne was discontinued this last year, so the family went out on a limb and got me something sorta similar. I like it so far, but I think it'll probably grow on me.

Replacement copy of 'Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness', because a friend borrowed mine and scratched the disc really deeply.

A tenor ukulele! Now my soprano ukulele will have something to balance out the range!

A box of Lifesavers. I enjoy candy.

A new dress shirt featuring several colors I like, AND it's striped! Perfect for that young up-and-coming Austin type character!

'The Encyclopedia of Immaturity'. 'Nuff said!
