hey, i want to know what is lowest price you have ever payed for a lego set, i mean at a store. i found the Temple Of The Crystal Skull set at my wal-mart in july for $25.00 (it had a damaged box), and the Rough Shadow at Good Will for $5.00, witch is the only reason i bought it, since i really didn't want to pay $50.00 for it. i want to know what your lowest price for a lego set was. |

I'm not a MOD, but I would guess that this would go in the LEGO Section. I may be wrong, in which case I apologize for posting. If it should be moved, it is an honest mistake that I would be suceptible to making.
I'm trying not to minimod, so someone let me know if I'm doing this wrong.
As for the cheapest price for a LEGO set, I don't know. I've never been in the right place at the right time to get an amazing clearance. The only thing I've bought on sale is MagnaGuard Starfighter during something like 10% off at Target. In terms of cheapness, an impulse City set for my brother for Christmas. But it was at MSRP. You people who get sets for like 80% off are lucky. _________________ Am I the only one who sometimes comes here, logs in, and fools around?

Arkham for $22
Batwing for $15
Tie Crawler for $12
ISD for $60
I didn't have to pay any money for my Sandcrawler, but I had to spend a bunch of time using my Lexis Nexis account in law school to get enough points to "buy" it. _________________ Will litigate (or tactically consult) for food. |

My best deal for new sets yet: 79 Euro for the 4504 Falcon and 80 Euro for the UCS Y-Wing.
My best deal for an used set: 125 Euro for the AT-AT, in a time where you couldn't get it for below 200 Euro by ebay. _________________ ~Andi

I've gotten several sets for a penny in my travels. Only sets that went up to 10 dollars or so but at .1% of original value, it's practically free if you can find a penny on the street!

The orginal Hogwarts Castle for 5 bucks. Not MISB and without the instructions, but it still had every peice present, and I was able to build the whole castle by looking at the pictures in the Shop@Home catalouge (This was before I found out about the online instructions).
I also got the original soccer match (Grand Slam Challenge?) MISB for 5 bucks at Goodwill.
I'll post anything else if I think of it. |

I bought a second ARC-170 Starfighter for $20 back in 2006 at a Target sale. The problem was the fact they only had one left. If they had more in stock, I would have bought two or three of these bad boys for sure. Good thing was I got a set I really liked for 50% off. _________________ Do or do not, there is no try!!! |

I'm going to go ahead and assume you're talking about the Cloud Car set here. Otherwise people are going to break out the torches and pitchforks. _________________ Will litigate (or tactically consult) for food. |

I've never found any great deals in stores. For salebuys, I'd say the Rolling Acres Ranch, an old Pardisa set, for $5. Otherwise, I've gotten a very good deal on boxes of random parts containing cool minifigs. _________________ I believe in LEGO Star Wars!

My wife picked up the orginal Sith Infiltrator for $10.00.
Not a killer deal like others have posted, but I was happy to receive a bunch of grey plates and a Darth Maul for a Hamilton. _________________ So FedEx isn't expensive? And we don't get French benefits?! |

The best deal I scored in recent memory (assuming we're not counting free sets from BOGO sales) was a $25 5378 Hogwart's Castle at Target. That was this past Spring I think.
I know I picked up some Spider-Man sets and the Titan XP at Wal-Mart for some ridiculously low clearance prices, but I couldn't tell you how much. _________________ Hail Brains!

- T-16 Skyhopper for 90% off at K-mart: $1.49
- A bunch of Final Duel IIs during the KB sell-off, but only at 3/$10.
- One year, the WalMart near us was just clearing out LEGO, and I picked up an X-Wing with Yoda hut for $13, a Cantina for $10, the second HP castle (not Draykov's) for $25, and 10 snowspeeders for $5 each. Six of those turned into a 4504 Falcon thanks to Starbeanie, so that was extra-nice.
- Practically the very first time I visited LEGO S@H, the Jango Fett Slave-I was half-price for $25. Someday, I'll sell that mint JF fig and buy a car. . . a nice LEGO car, but still, a car. _________________ Just Phil |
