Thats really odd, the pilot droid has
a skeleton leg instead of a head. I also
really like dooku's speeder and head, I think
the head only looks good with the hood on
though. I think the solar sailor its self actually looks like it might
be fun to build and I also like the fact that the set comes with 2
Magna Guards! |

Much like in Battelfront II, I gotcha. _________________ You can never eat too many brains, because there will never be a shortage of them. Oh wait, there already was before the zombie outbreak!

Well, I really want this set now. It doesn't look that bad and I'm sure I could fashion some sort of sail.
Dooku doesn't look bad either. I kind of like the face. It's better than just making him an Obi-wan head dressed in dark brown/black. It's scary, but he's a Sith.
Plus, I almost bought the Magnaguard starfighter to get the minifigs. Now I can get them in this set.
Any idea of price in the US anyone? |

I thought somewhere it was rumored the price would be between $39.99-$59.99 U.S. Which seems about right.
I was looking at Lego Shop at Home and saw that Ahsoka's Starfighter was officially released, so I got excited and looked at it. Then I nearly dropped dead...
It's $39.99--for essentially the same set of Anakin's old Jedi Starfighter and Vulture Droid. Not worth the money. _________________ You can never eat too many brains, because there will never be a shortage of them. Oh wait, there already was before the zombie outbreak!

It's not available yet, at least in the US, but S@H now has a listing for the Solar Sailor...

That's kind of what I thought. Depends on the # of pieces somewhat. The 80 Euros in Finland mentioned earlier scared me. |

That was my thought...I doesn't look like the new metallic grey hilts, so I'm reeeeaallllly excited now.
Despite the complaints about the sail, I don't dislike the set at all. It looks neat. _________________ You can never eat too many brains, because there will never be a shortage of them. Oh wait, there already was before the zombie outbreak!

I think Dooku's face doesn't look too ugly. And I like the new hair piece.
But the price differences in Europe scare me 80 Euro in Netherlands, 39 Pounds (which is right now about 40 Euro) in UK. _________________ ~Andi

The hair doesen't really resemble Dooku's hair, either in the CW series or in the movie... It would've been better white and Palps'. |

Personally I like the set and I think I'm going to buy it ...but I'm curious to know how are the interiors..someone says that the speeder can be stored in the ship and there is also a big room indside!

Don't hold your breath. Interiors are normally not the focus point of a ship and thus don't have the same care put into them. _________________

a big room on the inside of a relatively small set ? It's not the Tardis
Anyways ... why don't you contact the person on Brickset (if you can). No-one that posts here has yet reported that they have this set.
When they do, I am sure a review will follow very quickly. _________________ I used to post here as "Big Pete" but my account got screwed ...

Huh, looks pretty cool. When I first saw it I immediatly thought of the vulture droid magnified.
I think Dooku looks pretty legit with that face. Nice improvement. _________________ Go Green! Go White! Go State! |

From first glance Dooku looked like he had boobs
Very nice find Grievous. The cockpit is pretty terrible looking. But there isn't alot of room to work with in there. _________________

Is it just me, or are the pics that I've seen of Dooku's new saber revealing of an actual chrome hilt? _________________ You can never eat too many brains, because there will never be a shortage of them. Oh wait, there already was before the zombie outbreak!

Too bad we didn't get the prototype solar sailor that Lego previewed back when Ep. 2 came out. It looked bigger and a little better.
And those man-breasts on Dooku are kinda scary. |

That was an MOC, not a prototype.
Someone merely claimed it to be a prototype, even when it's sitting in someone's house.
It's not that bad; a little sleeker. |

It's, for one thing, larger and longer, and not as wide in relation to the length. |

Just picked up this set from TRU, they had one on the shelf...and it was $59.99. Seems outrageous for the piece count, even for a limited edition set. My LEGO store told me they can't put these out until FEB 1, earliest. _________________ www.BRICKSTRUCT.com

Just finished building this. Did not take much time. Scale is larger than I thought...but the cockpit and tail need a lot of work. Especially the aft doors. They look unfinished, and have no ramp. I don't see any reason that if you are going to do something this size for $60, you can figure out a way to do a two seater cockpit and ramp. Overall it seems rushed as a finished piece. Figures are great, except for the head on the Droid Pilot. _________________ www.BRICKSTRUCT.com

I bought it too, and I ' ve a few problems ... I've no idea from from where to start modding it! ... I think is the most difficult set to modify ever released! If you have any ideas or suggestions, please tell me... _________________ "Who am I? I am the future!" - General Grievous
