I made the FBTB Forums Logo as Mosaic.
(click picture for more sizes)

You ask why?
Short Story:
I love FBTB, the forums and this logo (and the scene the logo shows).
Long story:
After my visit to the Lego Show (LegoFanwelt) in cologne in early November, I talked about my experiences there in chat.
And somehow we chatted about my plans to visit Chicago next year.
So Matt (PepaQuin) suggested that I should come to Chicago in June. There would be Brickworld, and now where I've seen how fantastic Lego shows could be, it would be great and a lot of fun to attend Brickworld.
At this Lego Show in Cologne I helped creating a huge mosaic and I met someone who developed a Mosaic-Template-Creation-Software.
I wanted to try this software and I was thinking about something not too huge which I maybe could display at Brickworld.
So suddenly one night I got the idea to make the FBTB-Logo as Mosaic.
It's a 48x48 plate, so not too huge and should fit easily into my bag. and it should be sturdy enough to survive a 9-hour-flight.

I think it's great Andi. I love the use of the trans pieces for the lightsabers and step lights.

Great work.

You know, with the new site coming around, maybe we could use this AS the logo. Instead of the one we have right now.

By the way, is this mosaic software you speak of online? or in disc form?

That mosaic turned out really good on a 48x48 baseplate. Sometimes mosaics don't work so well at that size but yours looks very good.

Shoot! I knew I should have taken German instead of Spanish in High School! Sad Maybe I can translate it with Babel Fish to get a rough idea of what it's saying.

That looks great, it's amazing how well the figures in shadow came out.
I'm not sure about the little bit where the sabres clash, does anyone else think the color looks a bit harsh there? It might just be me!

I put there trans-neon-yellow-plates for 'showing' the clashing.
