I just saw this:

http://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Ultimate-Collectors-Millennium-Falcon/dp/B000WLW3W0/ref=sr_1_17?ie=UTF8&s=toys-and-games&qid=1228188248&sr=1-17

I think it's today only, so this price is probably only good for a few more hours.

Argh! Evil or Very Mad I guess if you wait long enough, almost anything will get some sort of discount. At least I got the certificate with my version. Laughing

It only looks like $449. At checkout, an additional 10% is taken off:
"You can get an additional 10% off of this Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon. This is it -- the biggest, most spectacular Lego Star Wars model ever. Put this item into your cart and receive 10% off instantly at checkout. "

Yeah, not too shabby...would come to $404.99 without tax. I'd consider it if I hadn't already dropped a blankity-ton of money on LEGO already this post Thanksgiving buy-a-thon. If other UCS sets over $299 are anything to go buy, there will be other opportunities though...I could be proven wrong on that, given the speedy turn-around of some sets lately, but UCS Star Wars has been pretty consistent in its long-term availability.

The 25% off promotion applies to that too. Dude...that's a $67 RGS! *pulls checkout trigger* Rolling Eyes I have to find the will-power to not buy any LEGO for myself again until next December when all of these stealth deals show up. Well, at least I'm saving my wife the trouble of shopping this year. Smile

What 25% off promotion are we talking about?

Maybe it's not 25% off...or maybe it's 25% off the sale price...in any case, it rang up at $67.49 with free shipping (and no sales tax charged in my case).

At checkout it does just like the Falcon and knocks a little more off. I didn't have to physically enter any code or otherwise make any effort to apply the promotion...it did it automatically at checkout. I believe the AT-TE and V-19 are also affected, but I've gotta draw the line somewhere. [Edit: This promotion does apply to the V-19, MagnaGuard Starfighter, AT-AP, and Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter with Booster Ring at checkout, but not the AT-TE.]

It's a deal. It's a steal. It's the sale of the funking century. Perhaps someone should edit the thread title to call attention to these other deals. Smile

Cool thanks. It's a great deal...but I've bought a ton of stuff in the last week so really don't know if I'll get one or not.

Anyone know how long it'll last for?

This...is...unbelievable.

My philosophy with buying LEGO is getting put to the ultimate test. "Buy now, think later." I've already spent over $1,300 in the past week on LEGO, and now after another $120, I'm getting pumped to throw down a few hundred more bucks. I'm literally running out of money on my debit card, but it'll be worth it when I part out the sets and sell the minifigs. It all means more bricks for me to build bigger MOCs with.

Well...you can still get an RGS for $85, which isn't so bad. Score one for clerical errors. Smile

Hold on, wow this sale is like a yo yo. The RGS is back up for sale at $89.99! but no additional 25%. As per above, the RGS was $85 ($113 with 25% off)

Taxes apply to NY but not MI or OH for canadians looking to ship to a bordertown mailbox near ontario.

Just out of curiousity, Nannan - what exactly did you buy in $1300 of Lego? I'm not even sure what that looks like. Are you including the price matching discount you got on the Star Destroyers?

It's 7 ISDs, 5 Grievous, 5 Star Justice, 4 Space Skulls, 3 Custom Cars Garage, misc Aqua Raiders, and the rest in Bricklink orders on my end of the year MOC project. I'm not accustomed to spending that much money, but for sales like these, they ought not to be passed up. With all those sets, I can either sell them, keep them in my collection, gift them, or part them out into my building bins.

Yet this morning (5-something AM) I received an automated blast email from Amazon touting this additional 25% off select LEGO deal -- and of course it's defunct. Marketing needs to talk to I.T. !

It's the additional 25% that was short-lived. Still some good prices, though: now I'm trying to decide if my kids really need the Speed Racer Grand Prix set.....

Falcon is now 439.99 with addtional 10% making it 395.99 shipped for me. I had to get another at this price, it made my wallet cry.

That's a very good deal, but I'm not ready for the Falcon just yet. Almost 6000 pieces is too much to take in in just one set. I still haven't built my UCS ISD that I already opened months ago.

Thats the only thing that sucks about having two Amazon distribution centers in KY... TAX! Boo.. Otherwise, lightning fast shipping. I was still able to snag gunships for the additional 25% off of 25%. Thanks to the original poster of this one!

I was just checking amazon, and the MF is now $399 with an additional 10% off at the checkout, making it $360, and free super saver shipping. I already have 1, but it is very tempting.

I pulled the trigger on that price drop this morning! Not that I have any room for it, but I didn't want to regret missing that deal. I put another one in my cart - could it go lower?
