Hello dear building friends!

A well-known bounty hunter, and even seen in the movies, is the assassination droid IG-88. As deadly as the droid itself, is its ship, the IG-2000, a modified Aggressor Assault Fighter.

The fighter shows a represents a unique shape, wedge-shaped with many claws, hinges and tips. The construction as a mini model was not easy. Filling the wedge space in the middle, so that now gap remained was one major task.

To the inner sides of the hinge fins, chainsaws were added as excellent method for a studs-inversion on very narrow space. Then the new 1x2x2/3 slopes were place on top of the chainsaws to close the gap to the cockpit.

Both cockpit windows are attched on one chainsaw again, which is stuck into a 1x1 brick with studs on 4 sides. On that brick, then 2 blue wedge plates are attached. The ship is perfectly symmetrical.

Okay, enough of talking, here are the images. Smile Click the link or the image below.

That's it for this week,

I wish you a good start into the new week, and happy building!

~ Yours Chris

Very clever model, especially the use of the droid arms and chainsaw blades, another winner Wink

Sweet work Chris, it looks really fantastic. It's the coolest shape, you employed the greatest techniques for the parts you used, and it is just awesome.

That looks great! It looks really mean and insect-like. Clever parts use as said above, it's one of my favorite of your work so far!
It even looks close to the scale I'm working in, I might just have to pinch a few ideas Wink

Ditto on the parts usage. It was in the movies? Interesting should pay more attention, but back to the model, terrific as always.

No, IG-88 was seen in the movies, not his ship.

Nice model BTW! Very Happy
