Seems like now we all know how to post leaked info and make it seem genuine and allowed ... all we have to say is "a lego rep told me".

Seems like the policing of the RTB is slacking. Perhaps the mod team are too busy fannying around with their in-joke vs Don?! Razz Wink

I hear you... I'll be remembering this topic, no worries, as I too have a Lego sales rep.

Man! A Venator, Endor Rebels, Echo base... If Lego also releases an UCS Imperial shuttle and an Ackbar minifig than my collection is complete!!

Fortunately I can save some money by not buying the January sets (except for Vader's Tie) because they don't appeal to me at all. The summer line up on the other hand is Cool

Venator for me! Though I bet it'll be at that lovely $99.99 price point; I'd better start saving.

If this venator is a mini fig set- i am sure it will be like the ISD from last year- I am sure lego saw great sucess with the ISD playset and perhaps the venator will provide the same there are just a few things i am concerned with

- we have seen alot of the venator in teh new CW tv show- mostly the bridge and hanger- these are rather large sets and obviously the hanger would not be able to hold our V-19 torrents...but they would need to be able to translate these locations while keeping some of the size scope from the show (i.e the bridge of the venators are quite large and include the triangle view ports along with holo communication tabels)

i am really hoping we will start seeing playsets for CW with bases and walls and such- something to get dioramas going

The selection of minifigs will be interesting. I assume the Tarkin of the Venator set will be a Jedi General. Neutral

Yeah I would assume it would come with Wulf Yularren (sp?) maybe Plo Koon ( yeah i know we have him in the RGS but lego needs to get their money's worth with the new mold) a couple of clones and maybe Anakin and Asoka...

If Lego instead decide to give us another Clone Commander, I wonder who we'll get. How many Clone Commanders are there for each ship anyway? I thought it was only one. Neutral

Yeah, seconded. Really, if no source is listed it is probably leaked or something. Still...ughh...

I'm seriously hoping that the OT sets are done right. LEGO 2009 hype is growing, and I sure as heck do not want to be disappointed.

AAT? Awesome-nocity! I hope it retains its tan color, like the original, but beefed up. Kinda how the MTT was.

Endor? Kinda cool...we'll see.

Nope. The AAT is bluish (just like in the CW movie). And it has an awful meth addict Yoda. (Just like...) Nooooooo!

And I'm sure that the Corporate Alliance Tank Droid will be a CW set too. Will be hard to improve on the Wookie Attack tank. That was way cool.
But what the hell, echo base! I thought that's what we got with 7666. Is it supposed to be the Endor Playset? Or are they just capitalising on the popularity of the Rebel Hoth Base set.

Gentleman, I direct your attention this way... Seeing it seems the cat is out of the bag and their doesn't appear to be any abuse of RtB and these pics are legit. I mean come on. It's November people! These sets are less than two months away!

Check out my BLATANT DISOBEDIENCE OF THE RTB RULES!!!!!

But wait there's more...

Nope, its gone now.

ok Sandtrooper, for the last 5 months, i think we've gotten the point that you dont like the clone wars animated style heads.....please move on, its dull and boring, we know you don't like it, so please stop stating the obvious, over, and over, and over.

Thanks,
AJay

Sorry guys. We have been lax. The Lego rep excuse isn't going to cut it for much more than set names, numbers, and prices. In my book anyways. The images you guys are discussing are leaks, and it's a long-standing policy to not link to or talk about said leaks. Sorry.
