I did a review here and the whole BS gallery is here (when moderated off course Wink )

As a general statement I really can't wait to put my hands on the new sets, those figs are so awsome !!

Do not hesitate to ask any questions guys !!

Yeay that came as a real surprise actually. I never anticipated that shop to carry those (especially since they will receive the CW sets in September Confused ). And I was lucky since today was the first day they received them. The only one i didn't get was Anie's. And they had no regular white clonie nor Commander Fox (I guess they will do them later on).

I'm not fimilar with the Lego keychains myself, so maybe someone can answer me this: Are the chains screwed into the head? and are they easly taken out if you want to?
Because if they can coem out, I'm going to just buy couple of these instead of the AT TE and Gunship, which I already have.

I have a few old keychains and they don't come out...you can take the chain off so all that's left is one small ring coming out of the head. And the minifigs are glued together.

OK, from experience and MANY customers comments, they key chains sure do come out with a bti of pain. Wrap the fig in a towel/TIGHTLY, then wiggle it back forth/around, to slightly warm the plastic and TUG HARD, it will come out!!! But they are not screwed in, they are probably hot inserted and the nail/screw just has 'ribs' that then hold it nicely in place.

You can pretty easily use a pair of small pliers and "snap" off the top of the eyelet of the pin. They break off almost flush with the minfig head. The top of the silver pin is easily covered with a sharpy marker or paint. For display of minifigs, you can not tell the difference to the set minifig.

The answers posted here are all good. I'll just add a pic of a 4x2 keychain that shows you clearly the size of the pin for clarity Wink

Hope that helped Wink

My method includes heat: stick a loop of thick metal wire through the little metal thing, hold the wire with pliers in one hand and the minifig in the other. Hold the wire over a candlelight and pull until the heat has made the pin in the fig hot enough to melt - or at least soften - the plastic so that it comes out. Then not much force is needed, and you can't see a trace apart from the little hole.

That looks good too, but I don't like all the force that has to be used. With a candle under the paper clip though, it won't take much.

"Use the force" Cool

Where did you get these pieces? Shop at home, or a retail store? This is great; I'm practicing wire cutting with my pliers right now...

Gosh, I have to say, when LEGO decided to make these characterized clones, they really went all-out with the detail on them, from the Jaig Eyes on Rex and the orange "goatee" on Cody...I have to say...kudos to TLC.

I went and spent 50 bucks JUST on keychains alone. I'm frankly disappointed with the sets, not just because some are re-releases but also, I know that the only reason they're selling is for the minifigs (and helmet accessories). The Magna Guards heads are way too small, Ashoka and Ani are in 2 of the sets and the Droids are in way too many. And I DO NOT want a little green turd. I'm waiting for the Clone Battlepack (and probably Droid battlepack 3.0 or 4.0 too).
Thanks to this:

I can enjoy my 4 captain Rex's and others as figs.

These are now up at S@H

7 Clone Wars keychains, 3 new regular ones (including the Shadowtrooper)

Definitely a good way to get the figs without the sets...

I think Wimbrant meant that Rebel trooper and the shock trooper keychain. They're still listed as new even though they've been out for like 3 weeks now.

Three whole weeks?! Heavens, hasn't the plastic degraded into its chemical components by now?!
