Mine was #7110, the original landspeeder. Got it at the Lego Store at Disneyland in Orlando, back in 1999 upon its release. I happened to be there on vacation, and they had a limited amount of them available as a promo, before the rest of the sets came out. Lucky me! Very Happy

What about you?

Shocked I can't remember.

It was either Speeder Bikes, Battle Droid Carrier, or the Landspeeder. Probably the Landspeeder.

I got a Landspeeder and the Droid Starfighter, along with the promotional McDonald's set. Laughing But yeah, my first LSW sets were the Landspeeder and the Droid Fighter. I think the next thing I got after that was the Snowpeeder, and that Christmas I got two X-Wings. B-b-b-but... I broke them aaalll!! Crying or Very sad I'm still kicking myself for it! Actually, my cousin broke one of my X-Wings, so I'm not entirely at fault. Not entirely. Razz

I got two sets at one time for my first Star Wars LEGO. They were 7110 Landspeeder and 7130 Snowspeeder back in 1999. I chose my FBTB username from 7130.

My first SW set was the Episode I Jedi Duel, which was also my first prequel set; and my first OT set was either the landspeeder or the speeder bikes. I'm fairly certain it was the landspeeder, though.

Mine was the Ep I Jedi Duel that I got under my pillow for losing a tooth from the "tooth fairy". Razz

I was a fan of Legos even before that. But since I got it, I made an Obi-Wan figure with a plain white tank top and built a big duel arena out of red and white bricks, and then I recreated the Duel of the Fates.

I don't remember. My brother was the one who had got me into LEGOs. Fortunately for me, he seems to have grown out of it, though he's never let me played with our only Luke, from the skiff. Anyway, it was either that or the AT-ST with Chewy that was probably our first. But the first set I ever got was... Gungan Patrol? The one with the STAPs, not the one with the kaadus.

4500 Snowspeeder

Great set. The best version of the T-47 (Apart from the UCS). That year (4504 MF, 4482 AT-TE, 4483 AT-AT) was when the set designers started becoming very creative with the models. Before that many of the ships looked too boxy/blocky!

Still not sure what the red marking on top of the Hoth Rebel Trooper is supposed to be. Is it hair or blood from a head wound? Or maybe perhaps a Gorbachev type birthmark? Laughing

Jabba's Message was my first.
I remember getting it: I was sick at the day, my parents not at home, then the postman ringed and there was a package for me.
It was the first time since over 20 years that I opened a MISB Lego Set. It was amazing. Smile

7130 Snowspeeder. The original one.

I got it back in 1999, but I don't even remember anymore where or from whom. My memories are fuzzy - I was nine at the time - but I remember how cool it was to swoosh around with it and play with Luke and his lightsaber. It's still one of my very favourite sets.

I can't believe it has been nearly nine years since that.. Those were the days.. Smile

:greenclone: I remember mine! Knight's Procession #677 or #6077 from 1981. Castle set. Minifig battle pack type set. My Great-Grandfather gave one to each of me and my two older brothers. But I have them now! Muah Ha Ha! :greenclone:

Knight's Procession

My second set I got six months later for Christmas '81.

Knight's Joust

My first SW lego set was the 7115 Gungan Patrol. I got it from my Mom for Christmas. Back then I was still in the "dark ages" and only vaguely aware of the SW lego (despite being a SW and Lego fanatic since I was a kid in the late 70s). So anyway for that Christmas I put on my list (yes our family still does the christmas wish list thing. ) "Star Wars lego". I wasn't specific. Come Christmas, I was hoping I'd get something cool like one of the little ships (A-wing or something). I was rather disappointed I just got some Gungans. Oh well.

I remained in the dark ages for a while longer.

Until I began noticing the SW mini sets that came out in 2003. They perked my interest and I started buying one or two everytime I was out shopping for Groceries. Before I knew it I was seeking out ALL the minis to collect all of them. And then BOOM, the dark ages was over and my lego collecting/obsession had resumed after nearly 20 years of dormancy!!

Great topic!! Mine was the Qui-Gon / Darth Maul duel set. Then i followed that up with all the mini sets, then the Dagobah/XWing set and Cantina set...then it was all downhill from there, i had to have it all! Smile

Well, it would have to be either Lightsaber Duel, Speeder Bikes, or Landspeeder.

I got that one first as well! I remember I was only six and my parents had to help building it. My second was the naboo fighter. And I still have both, minus a lot of pieces.

You know, I don't remember what I got first, the X-Wing, the Speeder Bikes, or the Snowspeeder. It was one of those, and I was at Wal-Mart. It was 3 AM and I was slightly intoxicated. I bought a couple of sets, as I remember, and it was downhill from there. I only ever collected the OT stuff back then, so don't even remember seeing the rest.

I believe I recieved the Slave ! and Landspeeder dual Pack from my cousins in 2000/2001. I can't believe I still have them, and the instructions, for I wasn't a SW fan nor a LEGO fan (come Harry Potter I would be). I love those sets. Real simple and sophisticated, and cool minifigs. I only lost two pieces: the lightsaber and a grill piece. Smile
