Well then, you're in for a treat tomorrow. Razz

As for Jar-Jar blending into the background, I did consider using a different colour baseplate, but it didn't look right - nor did it match the walls in Repulsorlift? (still the best one I've done, IMO).

Anyway, wouldn't we all have preferred it if Jar-Jar had blended into the background in the movies? I'm doing you guys a favour. Wink

Tomorrow's comic is coming together, and I think I know how I want to do Thursday and Friday's. Not saying this'll be a daily thing (the proof being that I didn't do one for today. Razz ), I'm just on a bit of a roll at the moment.

Comment if you read it, would you?

Not bad, not bad at all. Joke is quite funny, and the actual realization is nice, too. The third panel is particularly great-looking.
You could, however, have used some other bubble shape for the third panel, though, something that would make it clearly different to the others and would implify that Obi-Wan indeed is shouting; that'd make the reading even more fluent.

Interestingly enough, the overall look of the comic reminds me very much of Irregular Webcomic. A source of inspiration, perhaps? Wink

Thanks for the tip, Galagoo. Maybe I'll do a 'deluxe edition' like I did for Repulsorlift?.

As for the IWC style - Yeah, I pretty much nicked that. I'd use a different style if it wasn't so easy to just use this one. Razz Maybe if I get this going with any sort of regular schedule, I'll make my own. Actually, if the next two go ahead as planned, they'll be in the 'two-up, two-down' style of the aformentioned 'deluxe' strip. Not much of a change, but a change nonetheless. Razz

I love the "Indy's a n00b" one. I actually like that you only used one photo.

ConCERNed

See, Jake's in Switzerland right now, so it sort've makes sense...

Posting this early, just in case we do get sucked into a black hole later. Or eaten by dragons, which would be just as likely. Razz

LHC
CERN

Futurama references inspired by Jake, even though he admits to hating the show. Weirdo. Also, keen-eyed readers might have noticed the Doctor zapping Darth Vader with the sonic screwdriver. I put stuff like that in... well, because I can.

Neato, got me smiling. It works well both visually and joke-wise.

Then again, if you just need some criticism, you could have used some different, less formal-looking font for the "Aaaarrgghh!" bubble to make it look more smooth.. Wink

Advent goodness is back! I'm sure you're all so glad. Wink There'll be fewer comics this time around, but hopefully I'll bash out a couple more before Christmas.

Because Jake didn't get the last panel, here's an explanation for more people like him: The knight's making money by turning the angel into a tourist trap. The skellie is just an aside.
