Watched it again and the stuff I've caught so far:

Pizza Planet truck
Sputnik
Ham from Toy Story
Rex from Toy Story
Frozone Bobblehead
A113 obviously

I really thought Sputnik was one of the coolest out of all the easter eggs Laughing

Keep in mind that the Cars plot was basically "Jerk goes to strange town, town dislikes him, town begins to like him, town helps him out, jerk becomes likable".

And if that's original, then Phantom Menace is the best movie in the world.

WALL*E!!! Great movie. *SPOILERS BELOW*

I liked how the world was basically taken over by a wal*mart parody, and it's CEO looked like Ronald Reagan. Also, it was very clever how pixar showed the transition from realistic to animated when showing the captains. Obsessive Compulsive cleaning robot was good for gags, and the band of misfit robots were cool. I'd give it an A.

No it wasn't a joke and no need to critisize me. I simply made a observation.

I just went to see Wall-e again, and I think I actually enjoyed it more the second time. I even noticed more little in-jokes. My favorite is that the robot on the Axiom that is typing on a computer that Wall-e waves to on the way to the bridge. He has a binary code keyboard. In the shot when it shows the keys, they are all ones and zeros, which was a great little touch. Incredible film, and I really hope everyone sees it at least once.

I'm going to take my girlfriend to see it on Sunday. She's terrified of Wall-e, she thinks he's too much like ET, but enough people convinced her to go. I love Pixar and can't wait to see this. If anyone happens to go to Hollywood studios in Disney World I would suggest seeing the animation exibit. There's tons of cool behind the scene displays and insight into Pixar. I would love to work for a company like this!

Really? Three times? I would go a third time myself, but I think I'll spend that money on some Wall-e merch.

I was just at TRU, and it's still farily well-stocked. I'm going to grab a Wall-e figure next time I go.

Heh. I just realized that The Incredibles, Ratatouille, and possibly Monsters, Inc. are the only Pixar movies that didn't have the PP Toyota in them! Laughing

Really, now?

I seem to remember it in Monsters Inc., it when they re-used the scene from Bug's Life which had the truck in it, but where was it in Ratatouille or Incredibles? Heck, the only Pixar reference I caught in Ratatouille was Linguini's Incredibles boxers. Laughing Confused

Yeah, Brad Bird likes to make it hard to spot. In Ratatouille it's on a bridge in the background when whats his face is chasing Remy on the scooter, and in The Incredibles it's little more than a blur on the freeway when the family is crashing the RV. Extremely hard to pick out, but it's there.

Y' mean Skinner? Wink

Wow, thanks for pointing those out, Don. I'll have to watch those two movies again. Too bad my brother lost our copy of Incredibles, though; Heaven knows when I'll get a chance to go to the library again. Evil or Very Mad

Found this video on youtube, pretty good, but all the previous WALL*E sightings are faked, I watched both Cars and Toy Story to make sure Smile

That clip from Cars sure looks like him, but I don't think they planed it that far ahead. WallE can be distinctly seen driving a transport in the bonus feature in Ratatouille about living with rats. That one's confirmed.

I just picked up a Cube Stacking Wall-e figure from TRU. Got Search and Protect EVE too, Don, if you want her. Wink I'm trying to decide wether or not to open them, because they look pretty good in the packaging.

This is the Eve I'm after. Just the basic $5.99 single pack figy with no fancy features. I've got WALL-E and M-O in the same scale so the Search and Protect version of her would be out of place. Sad

Admittedly, those were sold out. I figured I'd spring for the larger scale figures for myself, plus I'm a sucker for action features.

Nope, they did an extremely good job on faking that one. I watched it on my 42 inch plasma in slo-mo about fifty times to make sure Smile

But I will have to check out that Ratttatouille one, can you give me the scene and time of it?
