Well, I played it last night. I was a little disappointed, due to how seriously screwed up the level is (floating platforms...). However, I like the new character abilities, and the Treasure Minikits. The weapons feature is great, but I'm not too fond of keys and sidling. I love playing as the Nazi Officer (grenades ftw!).

How can I fix the plane? It tells me I should click button 3 if I have a spanner, so I switch to the plane pilot and click button 3, but nothing happens.

Change to Jock, jump on top of the plane, press button 3. Hope that helps....

So does anybody know when the game comes out? I was confused whether or not it came out with the new movie or just its own opening date. Question

JP-30 et al,

I was able to lift two other minifig textures from the demo:
Belloq
and
Short Round

I think this may be one of the generic 'guides' from the opening cutscene as opposed to Short Round, but it's the same torso design, so I'm going with it. In the game, his torso looks grey to me.

I have my copy right here as well. I can't say to much at this moment about the game itself, but it does have some secret levels...

I bought the game at Circuit City and was supposed to get a secret code to unlock a special Belloz character, but I didn't get anything extra with it and it wasn't inside the box so I'm out of luck I guess.

I just got it today (yay!), and it's a LOT harder than LSW! But that doesn't mean it's a bad game. I actually prefer it to LSW, simply because the fight mechanics are better, and I like the item system. I could go on and on, but I'm tired Razz .

I noticed the increased difficulty, too. Mainly because the Nazis...I mean, bad guys have guns, and you don't. (Unless you beat someone up and take it.)

Oh, and the LSW references throughout are hilarious! Did anyone else find Luke Skywalker? Wink

Yeah, I saw him in the background in the Tibet level. Anyone else notice the KOTCS references? (IE, Alien head in customizer, UFOs in Indy's office)

Yep! I've got a feeling there'll be a KOTCS unlockable level somewhere, like the New Hope level in the first LSW game.

I'm holding off buying this game for a while.

I want to see if they'll come out with a super edition containing levels for KotCS.

Kind of like they did with LSW for XBox 360. They came out with LSW2 for 360, then 6 months later or so LSW The Complete Saga was being talked about.

Of course, if KotCS does good, and a sequel is planned, maybe they'll do a LIJ2 in 6 years.

Then, after 7 years, we'll have LIJ The Complete Saga. Think I'll go ahead and wait for that. Smile

Looking at the character icons in the demo and cross referencing with the chapter descriptions on the game site, I'd guess the bonus level will be based on the 'Young Indy' opening scene of Last Crusade.

Yay!
Has anyone noticed the little ticker for SW references? I've gotten 3 so far:
Threepio in a jar in the first level.
Luke in Tibet.
And the Mos Eisely Cantina and Chewie in Cario.
I wonder what happens when you find all 5 Very Happy .

There's a ticker? Where? I've seen all of the stuff you mentioned, but nothing happened...

I've heard that there's an Ewok hiding one of the jungle levels.

I'm supposed to have the game on Friday, according to Amazon and I can't wait to play it.

Well, for me, after you bust Threepio out of the jar, there's a little cutscene, and "1/5" appeared. And so forth for Luke and Chewie.

Decision time: I want this game!

But which of three platforms should I buy it in: PC, PS2 or DS?

I just got a DS Lite and the advantage of getting the DS version is it's the cheapest and I can take it with me when I travel.

However the DS might not be the best in terms of features and graphics, right?

I would probably buy it for the ps2 because the ds one probably doesnt have the best graphics and whatnot, and the pc version is kinda hard to control. (based on my experience with the demo).

I didn't find Threepio in a jar; I only saw him during the cutscene at the end of the first level! Oh well, I'm sure I'll find him during free play. Very Happy

PS2, definitely.
