It does look beautiful. What are all of your thoughts about Lego using a blue and maroon coloured torso piece for the pilot and security battle droids rather than having printed decals? |

I'm thrilled. I didn't think the originals looked that great and now I'll have some new solid coloured spare torsos for custom "all original parts" figures. _________________

It's available in Australia yep but it costs $179. That's the same price as the 6211 Star Destroyer. Unless your really like the MTT and willing to pay that price otherwise outsource it from the States. |
what's wrong with that ? the MTT and 6211 SD are the same price in the UK and the US too (assuming the MTT is $99 in the US) |

For something with around 1300 pieces I think pricing it like the ISD 6211 is perfectly fine! I actually thought it would be 99GBP here, but fortunately its cheaper _________________ ~~~ sUpeRnOvA ~~~ |

I'm pretty sure it was the Sandcrawler listed at £110, the MTT was £80. |

They saw you European blokes teasing the US people and decided to remove it. :D <kidding>
It is interesting they took it away after listing it like that. Wonder what really happened. Well, anyway, cant wait till it comes to the US. _________________

They're seeing who's commited enough to buy it the instant it pops up.
Then they sit back and watch the fun before removing it, then they check out forum sites just like this one

Yeah guys. I don't get it.
I went to Lego S@H today (Before seeing this thread), and I saw Episode I in the Star Wars section of the store and what the... All I could see was Droid BP's and Sandcrawler for sale!
All I can assume is demand outstripped supply.
If people ordered like crazy, and they haven't produced enough sets then they will take it off the site and wait a few days/weeks to package many more MTTs.
I agree with General Veers, I assume Lego wants to make sure at the price (AUS$179, maybe $100USD) that want to know how much of a demand there will be.
Give it time people. It is coming, and it cometh soon. _________________ "Wow! Did you see that Jawa's head come apart man?!?
