I think we've all reached the point that Don has seen everything associated with R2.

The only possible way I can see for you to show him something he hasn't seen is to go into the future and find a new R2 collectible. Wink

Don, do you have a little tiny R2D2 that is on a dark grey stand? I know it's not much to go on but I can't provide pics at the mo. The one I have is quite heavy-> could be made of die cast metal. If you threw it at someone then it would cause quite a bad head injury.

TM, do you mean the tiny one that came with a magazine here in the UK? Once a week or fortnight there'd be an issue with loads of info on the movies and each came with a little diecast figure. Yoda was really tiny, and among the characters, there was also Vader's TIE x1.

Is that it?

Close but the base on that one is a little extended at the front. My one does not have so much of a base.

I remember that magazine series. Did it come out this year or last year? I'm pretty sure that that may be it. However, this little R2 was found in a tub of SW stuff that is years old back from when I was as high as an Ewok. Confused Laughing

Nope. Seen it though, plenty of times at Target and Walmart. Maybe if I see one one clearance for like... 90% off or more... then I might buy one.

I actually collect that magazine, if it's the one I think you are on about, 'The Official Star Wars Figurine Collection'. I wonder if Don hasseen that R2... it is sat in a box at the moment as we are moving, =(, therefore no pictures.

Andi, I just picked that up in the last month or so to match my R2 & Leia maquette... but they're still in the boxes Razz

And Reaper, I've seen that plate, and a couple more as well... never bought any though. Kinda overpriced for a decorative plate. Maybe if I was more of a redneck I'd invest in a set. Wink

Was it expensive?
I've seen it in an UK online shop for 59,99 pounds and wonder if this is a good price.

Well, retail on it was about $70 and I found one for that on ebay - and it was only available at a handful of cons in limited quantities. I had a friend at SDCC and C4 wait in line and he still couldn't get it for me. So that seems a little steep.

Do you have this Life-Sized R2-D2 Standup?

Or how about this R2-D2 Bobblehead? Or perhaps the C3P0 w/ R2-D2 Bobblehead?

I've seen similar caps and even bid on one for some charity auction... they need to make an LFL approved one that doesn't suck for about $15 and I'd get it. Wearing it is another story.

What? Are you kidding? With the weather we've been having? I'd wear that all the time during the winter. What other hat are you wearing when it gets to be -10 F (-20 - -30 with wind chill)? Sheesh.

Gotta love Minnesota weather Very Happy
