Well, Super Mario is one game that stand out when that question is asked. Also, The Legend of Zelda"Ocarina of Time, and Starfox were great plays on that console. N64 had positively loads of stupendous games.
Now then, back to Goldeneye. I loved that game. I have nothing but fond memories for it, and it makes me want to go get an N64 again, just to play it. Ahhhhh...... bliss..... A little side note, I believe that Goldeneye was just mentioned as one of the greatest, most revolutionary games of all time somewhere, I'll have to look when I get back from Mexico.....

Its true, and Master_Kenobi, buying an N64 again is a bad idea since you will be able to play it on the Wii and ONLINE!!! YEAH |

Actually, buying a Wii is a bad idea, considering the PS3 is is much better, graphically and power-wise. However, the Wii does have that oh-so-fun controller... I liked playing the Wii with my ex, back when we were still going out... So bonus points for that aspect.

Well if you ask me a PS3 is good for its graphics but for $600 for something that we have been playing for the past 15 years, it's a waste of money and it won't even come close to how the PS2 did. |

I really liked from Russia with Love on the game cube. It was a really good game and I picked it up from a bargain basket for £1.96 new! |

My friend owns From Russia with Love as he is a massive Connery fan. However, I quite dislike the game because despite being produced in 2005 when games like Half Life and Halo 2 were wowing the crowd, the characters in this game look like Sims. Also, the gameplay is very obvious, and the game is almost shouting the hints as to what gadgets to use right at you. The voice acting is pretty dodgy as well, even though Sean Connery returned to voice himself. Well, he is over 70, and is voicing himself as a 30-ish man, so that sounds quite odd. Still, it more or less captures the feel of the James Bond series, has a decent multiplayer versus option and has some commendable moments. _________________ Ironic, huh.

Werd 'em up! It's mostly nostalgia talking, I'm sure, but Goldeneye was the end-all/be-all. _________________ Hail Brains!

Quantum of Solace sounded eh. Definitely not as good looking as a game running on the Call of Duty 4 engine should.
Back to GoldenEye . I still have my original copy, and my brothers play it as though it came out yesterday, at what is quite likely an tournament-level of skill. That game was, is, just absolutely stunning. I was around 3 or 4 years old when it was released and my brother bought it, and already I was a freagging pro. The N64 controller was too big for my little hands, so I used one of these arcade pads. Did I mention I was pro? I bet If I found another one of those, my innate GoldenEye prowess would be unlocked. Rawr.
Rareware made a spiritual sequel to the game called Perfect Dark. If you do not own this game, please GO GET IT NOW. It is the greatest First Person Shooter ever made- everything GoldenEye was and more. Great memories.

Have you seen the ultimate webpage devoted to Goldeneye and Perfect Dark? I joined many years ago, trying to get as low times as possible on Goldeneye solo missions. I just checked my ranking, it has dropped about a hundred places...

Maybe this whole thing is just a metaphor for how quickly we will zombie-fy these threads ourselves, filling it with nonsensical arguments and such.
