I am having trouble with the minikit detector on the Secret Plans level.
I have one more mini-kit left to get, when the arrow shows up for it, it just points to no where in the room where you have to pick up the Stormies that are attacking "Rebel Friend". I was thinking that maybe a minikit appears there after doing a certain thing. Any tips?

Notice that red sparkle in the water? It's a HUGE hint.

Scitvs, were you talking to me? If you were, I have already gotten that one. Maybe I wasn't clear on where this invisible mini-kit is located.
In that room you go into after the corridor where you find 3P0 and R2. You pick up the stormies using the grappiling "hand" and drop them into the pit.

Dr. J - here's how to get that one;

Presumably, you've already opened the bounty hunter and stormtrooper doors that allow you to wander the hallways of the ship. If I remember correctly, there's a silvery object in one of the hallways that you destroy to get parts to build a little orange car. There's also a white truck you can build whose parts are hidden in the flowers in the 'hydroponics' room. I'm pretty sure either vehicle will work.

Anyway, you have to drive your vehicle into the room you mentioned. Drive your car onto the car platform at the bottom center of the room. It will raise and the minikit will magically appear.

Good luck!

Ah, thanks, D. McCool! I had found those cars, but I thought they were just to play with, not there for a real reason. Thanks again, though!

You get the idea. Besides, you can't use R4 unless you have Use Old Save.

My advice for the ESB minifig level is to be Greedo and stand next to a piece of metal and blow it up every time it appears. This makes it easier, but not a lot easier. My best time for that was actually 4:59. The Rotj Minikit is really easy if you are the TIE Fighter and blast everything, it also helps if you have invincibility and unlimited torpedos.

That helped! Thanks. Smile By my last tries I always ran over all platforms. This time I concentrated on a little part around the metal, blowed it up every time it appeared and shot guards and fences. Made it in the time of 4:51

I tried it three times with the Tie Interceptor. Then I switched to Millennium Falcon. Somehow I have the feeling it is easier to collect studs with the falcon. Can that be? Maybe because it is bigger?

bigger is ALWAYS better, my friend. I always use the Falcon or the Queen's Star ship from Ep. 1.

A bigger ship gives you more "wingspan" to grab studs. In the ROTJ ship level, I had the best luck with the Imperial Shuttle.

Don't mean to hijack the thread but I thought I read that in one of two levels with wandering skeletons (one on Tatooine and one on Hoth), it is possible to become the skeleton. I haven't been able to do this. Anybody?

Man, I love the skellys. They slap, then grab their other arm and bonk you, then they grab their foot with the 2nd arm and kick you. So fun.

Except for the fact that when stormies are blasting the crap out of you, he's pretty much defenseless.

Okay, I'm having trouble on the "Journey Through Jundland Wastes" level. I can't figure out how to get the last mini-kit. It's the one on top of the big rock, near where the escape pod is. I've noticed that on the rock opposite it, there's a 'opening' where Tusken Raiders come out of. I'm getting the feeling that I have to get through that opening, and use R2 to hover across, but I have no idea how to get to the opening.

You have to blow up those two metallic things with bounty hunter bombs (or self destruct when you use R2 to fly across) that are across the cliffs at the begining.
I had trouble with that canister as well.

Alright, you know the bridge before you get to the dark side area? Instead of turning towards the bridge, turn away from it. (That would be to your right) You will see two Bounty Hunter destructible metal things. Use R2 and fly over there. Once there, blow up the obstacles. Now, if you still can't get it from there:

*Spoiler warning*

Just go until you see the mine. On the left should be a destructible.. something. Blow it up and get up onto the higher ground. once there turn left and you can see where to go

Hope this helps.

I'm not sure I follow. Where is this door? The gold door in the Episode V area of the cantina?

I'm pretty sure he means that after completing Episode V (though this is true for all episodes) there is another door to go in. (in the Ep V lobby area)

On cloud city trap, go right behind the X-Wing. It should be there. (it's either there or at the end of ANH, on the Death Star attack at the exhaust port part, behind a wall panel in the back)

Damn glitches!
I played Super Story Return of the Jedi, was already in Level 4, good time, 100000 studs already completed, but in the end, where you had to pull the two levers for opening the little walkway in the Endor bunker, where you place the final bombs - nothing happened after pulling the levers. *grr*

BTW is it true that you do not need to complete Super Story Ep6 in 1 hour?
