Are we able to make a UCS sticker to use on a base, or not since it is not official LEGO?

after some consideration and input, i've decided to amend the rules slightly.

ONLY NEW models will be accepted. granted, i may not be fully aware of every MOC that every LEGO fan has built in the past 5 years so I am going to be dependent on the members of the community to point out any members that may be trying to slip in last year's model. if you're afraid of the backlash by pointing fingers, you may pm me privately.

Yeah, that's more like it...
Thank you bro... Smile

It would probably help if people took pictures of the construction of their model in addition to the final beauty shots, as to help prove it's recent construction.

(Unless someone tears down an old one and rebuilds it... Confused )

You don't have to rebuild it, just take pictures while you dismantle, it has much the same effect

You dont have to have instructions unless you want to provide them. Nowhere in the rules does it say you MUST have construction pictures of the model being built.

Internet crashed after clicking the clicky haha

I also think i will give this contest a try, the truth is i have started building my UCS ship for 4 days now. I have to wait untill i get home to complete it.

This contest is a real challenge (and the prize is also pretty huge), and Im very curious about everyones entryes.

EDIT i just have some questions about :1 will functionality be taken into consideration (ie moveable wings, opening cockpit, etc)

:2 is rendering allowed in the main version of the model, what i mean to say is... can we interfere with graphic stuff in the background, without touching the main model.

Hrmm... this contest looks interesting (granted, it's the only one I've seen that hasn't ended ::D: ). I think I'll try my my hand at building the escape pod (not Yoda's).

Olog, since the contest will be decided by voting, people will take into consideration just about whatever they want to. Just build what you think is best.

Personally I would think that if parts of the model, like wings, that can actually move I would consider that as a good addition. The more detail the better

Hurray I finally have finished my model. So far, I may add on parts as time goes on, and then by the end of December take some pictures. Cool

Confused Crying or Very sad argh.. Welp so far had thought I just had the engines left to build then realised how flawed my cocpit was so I'm almost back to the star all over again.

Thankfully one of my local parts dealers has been kind enuff to send me a few well needed pieces so now I think I'm back on track. And also near complete on the dificult engine design Twisted Evil .
