I believe when he was refering to a 8x8 baseplate he meant an 8x8 brick, and he stated that you could use an 8x8 plate if you did not have a baseplate.

But that's just my take on it.

that is correct.

But I already incorporated my best vig in my award winning webcomic entry! Noooooooooo!

Are we allowed to submit a 30cm x 15cm diorama in a shoe box made out of plasticene and depicting our favourite scene from Gone With The Wind?

Honestly Onions, I don't know how you keep sane after posting contest guidelines. You should let Colin loose in here to clean up the riff-raff with his 24 point bold lettering... Razz

I've seen a couple of these vigs pop up with L.A. weapons. Are those and decal'd figs off limits?

Mine is done, I think it is way better than my WideGlide for the last contest!

The only thing I am worried about is I used a cut piece of tubing, which is meant to be cut. When you buy a pnuematic set, they come with 2 long pieces of tubing, light gray and dark gray. Then you need to cut the lenghts you need from the pieces provided.

I hope Ace approves it. Cuase I couldn't think if another way to do it. Plus you can't see the tubing.

Jamie

Ok, I have two questions. First, we are allowed to use 4 4x4 base plates, instead of 1 8x8 right? And two, if so, it doesn't matter what color right?
I'm just clarifying this to make sure they are true.

-Thanks

i guess you can, but in the end, the vignette must be configured on an 8x8 base. it could be done with 1 8x8 brick, or 8 1x8 plates, i really don't care. but say having it split with hinge bricks is not allowed, since, by doing so, you are destroying the vignette.

Yeah, I'm in. I couldn't sleep the other night and came up with something. I found the sequence in the movie to double check. Now I don't want to come up with other ideas and have to choose just one.

To anybody making multiple vignettes, Please post your best. But, take pictures of your other vignettes and a little "Almost Entered" vignette party can be started >after< the contest deadline. You don't want anyone to win using your other ideas.

I am still waiting for him to reply to me as well. He's a busy guy!! But, I'm getting the impression that he wont give you or I an answer till we can post them "offically".

Agreed, very nice of him to do this for us!!

Thanks a ton Ace, Jamie
