Well... just to get those unfamiliar with the Merry Band of Canadian Lego Hunters, otherwise known as the MBoCLH which is usually spearheaded by Darthsillyus, but in his absence and just to get my first post of the new forums off to a good start.... we'll kick it off with.

From the ToysRUs flyer, this week they have the X-Pod game pack, all four X-Pods, plus the exclusive Black X-Pod (same pieces as the Green X-Pod), the game cards and board for half price at $14.99 (reg $29.99).

A week or so back, I saw the 4425 Creator "Bucket of Blocks" (2000 pieces) for $24.99 at Walmart restocked again. That's like 1 cent Canadian per piece. It's the same contents as the non-randomized portion of the 4679 tub, but doubled. Check peeron.com if you don't quite understand me.

For those of you lucky enough to still find one, the 7471 Mars Exploration Rover has finally hit the basement bottom price of $10. Other 2004 sets have hit rock bottom too, but YMMV. The price scanner is your friend.

Be kind and post locations if you're finding things that are not in flyers. I'd especially like a heads up for finds at Winners. Thanks in advance!

Walmart is in the final stage of flushing the older sets.

Check out the clearance aisles for super bargains.

Like SeaPredators @ 10$
X-Pods @ 2$
Mini StarWars (2nd wacw) @ 2$
NHL Hockey arena @ 20$

Winners has some Scala baby bedrooms @ 7$ and the co-pack C3PO/R2D2 for 20$

I guess they didn't restock yet.

By the way, how come Walmart never sold the 4504 Millenium Falcon here in canada???

By the way I'm in Montreal.

Wally World got in JSF&VD and LULS TIE...

I don't know about you but this "try-me" packaging might be a bad idea...someone at the one near my place in Calgary has taken to cutting the plastic to get LULS Darth...and obviously done so in a diferent aisle having found this packaging in different parts of the store. I this continues I can see Wal*Mart not carrying the other "Try-Me sets"!

Anyone else seeing this?

In Vancouver (Coquitlam) ToyRUs, I saw two of the 2005 Tie Fighters on the clearance table for $14.96 each for that exact reason.

Toronto area update. A couple of Toys-R-Us' and Walmart's I've been to have the Tie Fighter 7263 with Vader with light up light saber. I got the 7256 Jedi Starfighter and Vulture Droid at Walmart in Milton. No it wasn't on sale. If I see it on sale, I'll get a couple more because it's a cool parts set and I need to start building my stash of the new colours. Smile

Well I intent to put them in my bricklink shop.

I know I can be burned/flamed/broiled by pluging/linking my own shop here so I'll tell you my nickname : Rackham @ the Junkyard

They'll be up for sale later this week. (Let's say tonight)

Don't know the price yet.... I'll have to check the sales stats.

Take care.

By the way, the boxes aren't perfect.

See ya...

PS: Does Winners still carry LEGO?

Hey all....

Code W4CE1 is pulling up Imperial Inspection for $50 CDN, so even with shipping thats still $10 off.

Of course, if you order some other stuff you can balance out that shipping bill....

Play well!!

I just checked and with the same code, you can get the new community workers for $44 CDN as well.

That code is off my Christmas catalog I believe, and its constantly changing. I think we will have to see if any Ep III sets come up on sale at some point in April.

However, they seem to wise up reasonably quickly so if it does pull up something cool, you should order it immediately. I missed the fire collection for $54 CDN around Christmas due to being extremely broke and waiting too long to take advantage of the code.

Anyways, I have myself an Imperial Shuttle , so I'm a happy camper right now!

Picked up a few of the ROTS Clone Scout Walker set (#7240) @ the Bay @ Yonge / Bloor. They also had the Wookie set.

Pics of the Clone Walker & alt model are in my BrickShelf folder (when moderated): http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=121736

The new Clone Trooper isn't bad... looks more like a Stormie!! ( http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/RuthlessSith/7250/scoutwalker_006.jpg

London is horrible for Lego in general, and especially so for SW lego... the TRU had 2 snowspeeders (that's it) for SW, and when I talked to the manager about Ep. III, he seemed very confused by the fact that other stores were selling already... guess it shows the difference between franchise owners... jerks...

Also, Wal-Mart had a few bionicles and that's it for Lego! I couldn't believe it. Finally, Zellers had an X-Wing, and a few crummy mini-models (I'm not the biggest fan).

If anyone knows of secret stock warehouses in the London area, fill me in!

I can confirm that TRUs selling EpIII sets are hit and miss. All or nothing it seems from store to store. Better to call first before getting disappointed.

But all 3 TRU's i visited had the Imperial Inspection in all it's overpriced $70 glory. VERY NICE figs, & a nice box, but... Hmf- $70??? If it was $50, ok maybe.

I'll be waiting (probably a long time) for sale on that one.

In addition to a quick reminder on the BOGO at Zellers this week (thanks, BTS!), TRU also has 25% off all LEGO Knights' Kingdom sets this week.

Too bad all those new Duplo Castle sets (*drool*) just blow KK2 away!!! Man, if i only had a 4yr old nephew...

And they seem to have plenty of the Creator 200pc + Free 200 Pcs bonus buckets at $9.99. Those boxes seem kinda ho-hum compared to the 4679's 500 Bonus elements.

I humbly retract SOME of the things I've said about London... sure enough, Zellers is on the buy one, get one half off sale, and the shelves were packed with Ep. III sets!
I scooped up 2 ARC fighters, a turbo tank and a couple of walkers... then was shamed out of the aisle by a small child who had a mother berating him because he wanted to buy 2 sets of lego...

Ahh, the Yings & Yangs of SW Lego collecting. You just never know! Very Happy

Lucky you. Shocked Confused Wink

I was at 3 Zellers stores over the weekend & they had nothing of the sort. Sad One *was* clearing out the few remaining HP Azkaban, S-M 2, and old Designer sets for 25% off, PLUS the BOGO. Nothing SW discounted except a few Technic SBDroid sets. Not even the 100+ MINI Podracers & MINI JediSF/SlaveI sets covered in dust. Duhh on them for that- what are they waiting for? Rolling Eyes

The Bay has a BOGO sale on this week too. Today thru Sunday.

After calling, it seems the TRUs which *were* selling the EpIII sets have pulled the stock! Evil or Very Mad Replaced by hundreds of Creator & Duplo Buckets w/ the 200-pc Bonus box. Ah well.

Slightly off-topic:
For Hasbro SW figure collectors, some W*Ms have jumped the gun and are selling the EpIII collection already. The "Evil" Anakin figure (as seen leading a batallion of Clones in the "Do what must be done..." Jedi Temple scene) in particular looks terrific.

My dirt mall Zellers has all the smaller EPIII sets, from Darth Transformation up to the JSF combo. Something you were desperate for Sillyus?
