Is there any way you can restrict the size of images you to include in posts? For example, say you had an image called "hello.jpg" that was 300 by 300. In HTML you would restrict the size using the following code:

<img src="hello.jpg" height="200" width="200">

Is there any way i can this using PHPBB code??

My guess is no, but how about using Irfanview and resizing it another way?

Even if it worked, everyone would still be downloading the full-res file, & their browser would have to do all the hardwork of down-sampling it, chewing up bandwidth unnecessarily. It's a much better to resize it at your end - using irfanview for this is a very good suggestion for PC users; it's very quick & reliable.

Ian is right. It will display at 200x200 but it still downloads at 300x300 and the browser does the work of making it smaller. It's better to shrink it on your end.
