Hello again dear fellows!

As I am approaching a busy time at work, I here share all not yet published Mini models with you. These being the Lady Luck, Lando Calrissian's personnel spacecraft (a SoroSuub Luxury 3000 Pleasure Yacht), and Talon Karrde's modified Action VI Bulk Transport, the Wild Karrde.

Both models are quite detailed for their size, and feature many 1/2 stud building techniques. The Wild Karrde is special, as being 3 studs in width. This was necessary, as the front section with the 3-wide slope was the only possibilty to get a decent approach for the shape of the model.

Something special about the Lady Luck is also the front section. The top roof stands exactly half a stud longer ahead of the cockpit, like it is shown in the references.

Here are the links (with instructions):
Lady Luck
Wild Karrde

I hope you enjoy them.

Best wishes,

~ Chris

Once again, Chris, you impress me. I love the lady luck, it's actually one of my favourite ships. Very Happy

I thought you had posted these already, for some reason. I keep getting the ones you show me on AIM mixed up with the ones you've made public. Smile

Great work once again. That Wild Karrde's definitely one of my favorites out of your collection.

Like I mentioned in the last PM I sent, I love your rendition of the Lady luck (thanks for the preview - I couldn't tell you how cool it was then, as my AOL crashed Evil or Very Mad and it was 6:00 AM, so I went to bed),

I'm not as familiar with the Wild Karrde, but it looks cool nonetheless. Great use of odd # stud techniques!

Thank you for the comments! I know these are EU ships and hence not known by all SW fans. I still try to provide more vessels from the movies, and we will definitely get some great things from Episode III once the movies comes out. So, thanks again, and see you soon!

Excellent! Both of these ships are rarely seen (in my experience) built out of LEGOs, and you did a great job on both. I especially like the Wild Karrde. It's one of my favorite EU ships, and you captured the shape perfectly. Brilliant work!

I'm not familiar with the Wild Karrde, but both are very impressive. I've never seen either of these ships rendered in Lego before. You really captured the elegance of the Lady Luck, it looks great. Nice work! Smile

Thank you very much again, Schism, Travis and Reto! It is especially nice to see the instructions are of some use! Smile

PS: I forgot to answer a question about colour above. I am sorry. I will do this now. Yes, I confirm that in some comics the Wild Karrde appears to be brown. Other sourcebooks have grey pictures of the ship. Although I also believe Karrde's modified freighter is more brownish, a stock version will probably be grey as most starships. And the most important reason why I built it in grey, is: I don't have a parts variety in brown that would be sufficient, or not all parts exist in brown. I hope this cleared things up. Smile

See you around!

~ Chris
