Hello again!

The last minifig I tried was the spy from Tatooine in "A New Hope" - Garindan the Kubaz. I only used official parts as usually. Wink That indicates it's far from perfect, but I can't draw and cut as you know. I bought some Duplo cape with hood, but it was far to large unfortunately. So I have to live with seeing this helmet. But this was a nice solution to attach the "trunk" part.

Take this link:
Garindan

Take care,

~ Chris

That's actually pretty good. I immediately recognized it.

Suprisingly good for only using official parts. I would suggest using a dark grey cone instead of the black.

I recognised it on first sight too. Your official figs are VERY good. Be proud, because official lego can be hard for fig makers.

Really nice use of offical Lego elements. You pulled off the figure nicely.

Thank you! I am happy the minifigs with only offcial parts are liked too. Smile As for the "nose" piece, I tried in dark grey, but it looks somehow odd. So I decided to let it black. The real Garindan has a very very dark grey "nose". The lego dark grey is definitely too bright. Smile

See you around!

My thoughts kept coming back to this Garindan fig that you created. I thought it was perfect, but like you I was wishing it had a hood. I used the exact same stuff you did (but I used a dark grey head and I think you used black), but I put another cape in and folded it over his head. With a little bit of double-sided tape, I think it looks good:
