After doing a search, I was surprised to find that no one has started a topic about Joss Whedon's new show, Dollhouse.

I have to say, it does look interesting. However, I do have to question Joss's decision to go back to Fox. You'd think he, of all people, would remember their unwillingness to let a show grow and evolve. You'd think he'd remember how quick they are to cancel a show that doesn't have the words "American" or "Idol" in their title. You'd think he'd remember the cancellation of his show Firefly.

Worse yet, Fox has moved the show to Friday nights, also known as the "death slot" due to smaller number of viewers (most people prefer to go out on Friday nights rather than stay in and watch TV). Will this show be able to survive and even thrive? It seems doubtful.

What are your thoughts on this new show?

The show premiers Friday, February 13 at 9/8c. It appears after Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (which you should already be watching Wink

I still haven't watched the new season of 24 at all, nor have I seen the last half of the last season of House. I'm really far behind on the shows I watch now as it is. I'll give Dollhouse a shot when it comes out, because I love Joss Whedon's work.

Plot sounds interesting. But I won't probably check it out just because it is a tv show, and I don't watch tv ever.

I'm looking forward to it!

It is very surprising to see Whedon back with Fox, but perhaps they gave him a good deal or guarantee.... I think they would have to considering what happened to Firefly.

It's hard to say how good the show will be without seeing any of it, but hopefully it lasts at least a whole season.
