Great gravy cakes, batman, that thing is HUGE! Shocked

Clever idea, and well executed, though. How long did that take, may I ask?

Yes....when I went to take it out of the Lego room I did not consider width and getting it through the door. Just barely made it without having to tilt it.

I love the RBR as a star on "top." Very cool idea.

Definatly gets high points for creativity Smile I like it. Very flashy, weird, and different. But fits intot he contest perfectly.

Whut da....
It's really creative and very well sized. My only gripe is, since it mimics a standing Christmas tree, the box that stands in for the ship's bridge should have decorations on the forward end instead of facing upwards from the ship. (That way, you could stand the set up sideways and it would look exactly like a Christmas tree.) But I guess you'd have to double up the bow and decorations, since they represent the shield towers.

And by the way, I love the brickbuilt ribbon details.

Great job.

Teeheee, this is fantastic. Made me laugh. Laughing The melding of ship and tree makes perfect sense, and all the little details are fanastic: the yellow RBR as the star and all the presents loaded in the back are wonderful.

(The reverse angle is the better one of the two, I think; I can't help but get the impression of a soccer/football field from the front view.)

Thanks again all. With only two pics to choose from it was a tough decision on which to enter. I took many pics and will upload lots onto my Flickr account for all to see.

Blogged on Geekdad, Gizmodo and Digg. Cool!

That's no moon, that's a... Christmas tree?

Great job and great idea. A little flat, but hey, still awesome.

Took me about a week, and really this is the first time I have built a frame out of technic bricks to hold it all together.
