Have fun! I'll probably damage my brain foir life and end up watching them all in one day... Ever try doing that for LOTR *grins wickedly* |
ah yes but the SW films are under 2 hours long (bout 125(ish) minuets) and its likely to be 1 film a day (2 if I'm uber board) _________________

125 minutes is over 2 hours and really none of the movies are under 2 hours long. But still its not like watching Lord Of The Rings. Those movies are long and I have trouble sitting through one let alone all of them at once. Plus Star Wars has more action in it. _________________

Yesterday I celebrated Remembrance day by frying my brain with the six Star Wars movies, Space Balls and the Star Wars Robot Chicken. It basically went from 7:30 am to 1:15 am. It was fun I suppose, but I don't ever want to do it again. Attack of the Clones was far worse than I remember it being. And Jar-Jar was more annoying than I remember. The surprising thing for some of you might be that 2 others watched them all through with me, and still three others watched the old trilogy with us. So yeah, that's the less geeky way of doing it. My brain is still moving slow today, pretty sure it killed something. _________________ )2eady? "A Royale with cheese"

This may be the biggest bump ever.
I've often thought about doing this, but as I've gotten older the PT lost so much of its appeal I don't think I could have survived sitting through two of them in sucsession? _________________

I have kind of done this before, i.e., not all in one day, but two days. I don't hate the prequels, although I will agree that they are one step below the OT.
But I still love them. I wonder, could it have something to do with generation? _________________ Am I the only one who sometimes comes here, logs in, and fools around?

I don't care what yall say, it was either getting bashed for bumping a thread that is still useable or get bashed for not using the Search function. _________________ )2eady? "A Royale with cheese"

I actually trimmed the 3 down to the time of one by skipping through all the annoying bits. Basically, the PT that I watched was:
Ep. I opening until stowing away on landing craft
Rescuing the queen on Naboo until landing on Tatooine
Podrace sequence
Qui-Gon/Maul duel
Return to Naboo and battle...
Ep. II starts off with the assassination, but then skip to Obi leaping out of the building after the assassin probe droid thingy
Coruscant chase and capture of Zam
Temple bit where Yoda mocks Obi in front of the chiddlers
Flight to Kamino and viewing of the army
Kamino duel and space battle
Skip now to Ani and Padme landing on Geonosis, and their capture
Execution arena and beginning of the Clone Wars, until the end of the mobilisation scene on Coruscant
Space battle at the beginning of Ep. III, continue until crashlanding the front half of the Invisible Hand.
Obi goes to Utapau, chases Grevious
Kasyyyk beachead
Obi/Grevious duel, part 2
Dueling the Chancellor, and Mace's pwning
Executing Order 66
Obi and Yoda infiltrate the temple
Battle on Mustafar
All that fits in about the space of one episode... _________________ http://www.ogame.org |
