I had my wife pick up a couple of Clone Wars sets from the Ontario Mills LEGO Store yesterday. She was asked if she wanted a poster for spending a certain amount in the store. She knew I would have to have it, so she got it.

Itís actually a very nice poster. Has anyone else gotten this? Iíd be interested to know what people think.

I donít have a lot of space to put it in my LEGO room, so I suggested putting it on the ceiling above our bed. My wife said, ďSure, if I donít mind paying alimony.Ē

Got a pic? Is it the same one that was passed out at Toys R Us?

No, it's a different poster. It basically features the lego mini-fig versions of Ashoka, Obi-wan, Rex, and Anikan. (Er, the actual mini-figs - not drawings) Nothing spectacular in my opinion. I like the Lego SW II poster much better. Will post a picture later if I have time.

Iím working on getting the picture up to the site. I have to go through a little different process since I donít have a Brickshelf or Flicker account. I will get the picture up as soon as I can.

I wasnít aware of the TRU poster, so I donít know if itís the same, but the previous post pretty much answers that question. I agree that itís not spectacular, just a really nice poster. I just like seeing these 12Ē minifigs along with the rest of my minifigs. Building the vehicles is fun, but itís the Star Wars characters that I really get a kick out of. That is the main reason why I will probably not get the Twilight set, I already have those figs. If there was at least one different minifig that came solely with that set, that would be the tipping point for buying it. The poster will find a place to hang in my LEGO room, but Iím trying not to do it without having to rearrange the whole room.

I will get the picture here as soon as I can, so donít give up on me Don.

Is that the poster you get free from Argos (UK) at the moment? Confused

This is the promo poster handed out at the Lego Co Stores during the month of September if you purchased $50 or more, and had the coupon. Cool

I was meaning the one you can get from The Entertainer. They did a similar promo when Revenge of the Sith came out. Back then, it was a poster showing all the action figures.

Dunno if it's across the board at all stores, but the Tysons location gave me two of the posters today just for coming inĖ no "only if you spend X amount" or anything like that. They probably had a dozen or so; if you're still looking for one, it can't hurt to pop in and check at your local store.
