5 days till we know what this set will look like. And I don't know about everyone else, but I'm VERY cerious to know what it will look like. More so then a normal set that I hear about.
Probably because this one has So many possibilities.

Or because its been a long time coming. Almost 10 years of LEGO Star Wars and no Death Star playset? Come on.

I'm hoping that it will look something like this only more rounded and obviously, inside the ball of metal:

The rest of the gallery is here. Too many minifigs for TLC but a guy can dream can't he?

I hope that there is the duel room for Obi-Wan and Darth, the control/conference room with Leia and Tarkin, and the prisoner's block with Han and Luke as Stormies.

Personally i'd rather get the figs from the UCS falcon rather than han and luke as stormtroopers

Has anyone heard how much this "That's no moon" will cost? Any idea of a release date? Saying it's cool is an understatement.

Haha, I didn't know Ry switched that... Laughing

What he was linking to was the thread over on EuroBricks... Someone had found the following shots on the LEGO.com cahce then loaded them to brickshelf. So, in turn, I felt they ought to go on flickr too for your viewing pleasure... now without further adieu:

Less talky more picys!

Thanks for the tip Lotus!

I love it so much I'm going to take it behind a middle school and get it pregnant.

Also - full silver dome with new print on R2, plus several new torso designs (Vader!).

I'll probably sell off my PT sets to be able to purchase this.

This is by far one of the most incredible sets I have so far seen. They really have gone above and beyond for this. I am still in awe when I see these pics. And best of all, multiple episodes! Shocked This will be epic.

Now, price?

People elsewhere have said US$400, but I have no idea if that's accurate.

This is the first set in a long time where I had the urge to pump my fists in the air and cheer. Thanks Don for putting those up! I'll spend the next couple of hours staring at those images. Shocked

EDIT: 24 minifigs!? Holy crap! This is going to be expensive.

Oh my god! This is unreal! This has to be one of the best sets ever! 3PO has a new color, 20 minifigs, R20's new decal, a combination of Death Star I and II brilliant! This set is going to be off the wall!

Every single room is amazing. From what I can tell there's
-Trash Compactor
-Control Room
-Briefing Room
-Throne Room
-The Swingy Room Wink
-Prison Room
-Shield Room
-Docking Bay
-TEchnical Room
-Firing Room

And if there are any other rooms ( please go easy on me.)
This set is wicked! Very Happy

I can't imagine that set trying to sell for $400...but then again, it is TLG so who knows.

Now that's a Space Station!!!

I never imagined that this long anticipated set would look like this. My expectations have been exceeded by far. Look at all the minifigures!!! Look at the new printings!!! Having scenes from Episodes 4 and 6 in the same model is pure genius. I could go on and on, but I need to gawk at the pictures some more. This AFOL will definitely add this to the collection.

Lego FTW!!!

Oh my g- That is freakin' amazing!! Shocked Surprised

I feel a little faint! Anybody notice the new palpatine head? This is just unreal! I've got to say, I didn't expect them to combine scenes from both IV, and VI, but that idea was ingenious!! I can't wait for this set's release! And the Death Star gunners! Whoo, I think I'll have to hold off on the 360 and pick this up first!

Oh, one more thing; In my not-so-humble opinion, this beats the turbolaser-pocketed pants off of the UCS set... Razz

...Looking a little closer at some of the pics, I realized that, although Threepio's color has changed, his hands are still the old color! Mad Oh well, I guess I'll have to deduct 0.01 point off of this set's 1,000 score. Wink
