Except the Tie Bomber, but, the others?
And how do a proton torpedo look like?
What are its measures? Does it look like a "classic" 533 mm naval torpedo? Or like a Harpoon missile?

Thanks, I am very confused.

Well, the title question is quite easy; most of the fighters of the TIE series didn't have any missiles, just laser cannons. The fighters that did have probably stored them in their belly like the X-wing fighter (this picture shows where the torpedo tubes are, and the torpedo stock is most likely right behind them).

Proton torpedoes come in large number of shapes and sizes, but the most famous one looks like this.
And if I recall correctly the picture in ICS book, torpedo's diameter is about 30 centimeters or less. That's only a rough estimate, though.

In an Xwing I find very easy to carry warheads. The same in an Ywing.

But in the Tie Interceptor, or the Tie Defender?
That is what I donīt know.

Thanks.

I think you are getting a lot of ideas from the famed Battlefront series. Battlefront depicts all TIE's having missiles, but in reality, only the bomber did. TIE fighters had only laser cannons I believe, and so did TIE interceptors. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Well, in the videogame "tie fighter" sometimes you can pilot a Tie Fighter or a Tie Interceptor with warheads.

And I find no REAL place to carry them.
The same in a Tie Defender.

Thanks and greetings.

It's called "game mechanics" and has nothing to do with canon.

TIE Defenders, I guess, carry their warheads underneath the pilot's seat in the central "eyeball". At least the missile launchers are there, as this picture shows.

^ he speaks truth.

The only feasible way any tie fighter or intercepter could carry missiles or torps would be through disposable launchers. Something jerry rigged to the ball or solar arrays for one time firing then quick disposal.

If you also notice in the game the tie fires the torp from somewhere underneath the ball. The interceptor fires the missile clusters from the wing tips it seems.

The idea of detachable launchers is very nice.

What I realize about torps...they donīt look like a "human" torp. They look like a cone, so its size is very small, isnīt it?

What about the launcher sistem on a Tie Bomber? Can you post a pic?

Thanks.

Yeah, proton torpedoes are rather small, as you can see in this picture. But they are far more powerful than their counterparts on Earth.

There isn't many pictures of the launching system of TIE bomber, and this is the best i could find:

You can see the system quite clearly in that, though.
