[Enigma]

Alright, the way I and a few other friends see it, there's a little more we can be doing for the growing number of inexperienced members. To make things run smoother a few of us have devised a cunning idea.

This is stunningly simple: any member who's been here a while and knows the ropes and wants to offer their help just needs to sign up here. They will be added to the Master list. Then, any new member with a question or a problem just needs to post in here or ask a master directly via PM. If a new member wants more dedicated guidance, they can ask to become a Padawan, and a Master can step up and act as a mentor - and help them every step along the way until they can get by on their own.

So the way this works is newbies post here to learn, oldbies post here to teach. Nobody is making any of you join this little program, just we decided to see how it would float in our current community. If you want help, or would like to help, just post and I'll put you on the list and get you set up as well as we can.

Now to be a Master you should have decent forum experience and a head on your shoulders, as well as free time to devote to your Padawan.

Padawans need only have a listening ear and a will to learn.

I've had the long-standing policy of being newbie friendly to where my MySpace was public for a really long time.

I tried my own noob help thingy, but it didn't work so well. I'd be more than happy to help anyone.

Just a suggestion, have the usernames on the masters list link to a PM to them, similar to my sig right now.

Well I've used Mequalspi's idea to great effect, they can now contact a Master at the click of a mouse.
