There are a few kiwis here, and as we still don't have A-Wings, B-Wings, Slave 1 or the V-Wing here (though the new city & Exo-Force waves are everywhere) I thought it would be rather handy to have a thread where we can keep each other updated regarding where to find SW sets at retail, and if places like K-Mart, Warehouse, Farmers or Toyworld are putting sets on clearance.

I'm Auckland based by the way and tend to check the stores in Henderson, Westgate and Albany on a semi-regular basis.

hi all

i'm in chch and i'm still waiting for the new sets to come but i'm not holding my breath, i really want sandcrawler and dont want to ship it out of the US so i hope they will sell it in shops here

yeah EVO Force is everywhere now, i bought all 8 sets from kmart when they had the 15% off sale the other day

No thanks. We're always 2-3 months behind on Star Wars LEGO for some unknown reason. The sets will get here soon enough. Imported versions are showing up on the NZ version of eBay currently.

The Warehouse in Albany (Auckland, North Shore) has in the last few days put about 15-20 Clone Scout Walkers on the shelves for ~$18 and 2 Wookiee Attack sets (around $60, I think).

So looks like some old ep3 sets are being cleared, maybe check your local Warehouses to see if it's the same in your area.

It may just be inventory at that one store, as I went to another Auckland Warehouse store today (Lincoln Road, Henderson) and they had absolutely no SW LEGO at all.

But worth a look if you're going that way, yes! Let us know what's happening in CHC.

Oh they also had B wings, Tie interceptor and something else, can't remember, was too excited about Slave-1.

Check hobby shops. Up here they seem way better stocked than TRU and mine charge the same price.

Here in New Zealand if any hobby shops or "educational toy" shops stock LEGO, it's always about 10% dearer than standard toy shops & department stores.


Was just in Toyworld in Henderson, Auckland.

It has 2x Slave 1, several V-Wing, 2 A-Wing & 2 B-Wing, all at the same price as given by S@H above.

No Tie-Ints.

Now all I have to do is hope they're all still available when I can afford to buy them in a couple of months time.

Hmm. Maybe I'll lay-buy them at k-mart!

warehouse nor kmart has anything yet

havent been to toyworld but last time i went in they didnt have anything

seems like the stores up north are getting them before they come down to the south

The same toyworld (Henderson Mall) I mentioned earlier now has TIE-interceptors ($49.95) plus a couple of each of the other new sets.

The warehouse in teh same mall has some A-Wings for $39.90, so the STAR WARS sets are starting to make the warehouse shelves...

I got my "Slave" from toyworld Hamilton but had a look yesterday and now all sold out. Rest I got from warehouse Hamilton city. Yeah k-mart has sale (to bad I didn't wait a bit longer) haha ::D:

I see Kmart has a 20% sale on LEGO, but it may just be Exo-Force.

Also The Warehouse Albany (Auckland) has a couple of Slave I's at around $100, and a good number of Batman sets if anyone's looking for those (3 different sets I think, from memory). The one with the croc, the one with Batgirl on batbike and one larger one with the Joker.
