5. Color scheme doesn't matter, Heck, whats wrong with a rainbow fighter? (although it probably would help if your ship has a basic color scheme)
I've got an idea! Why don't you stop spamming this, you didn't even enter the contest... |
Exactly color scheme doesn't matter. See I read the rules. I know I didn't enter I just thought that was very unfair to say it doesn't matter then come back and say you are basing part of your judging on it. By the way I did have an entry just no camera. On the 5th I'll start it's own thread regardless though so you know I'm not bulls***ing. I can't get a camera till then. I'm a bachelor that lives in poverty that goes to college ::D: . |
Oh heck, sorry for blowing my top-hat off, I just think that I made it clear that a basic color scheme would hel the judges like the model more... Sorry for all the rudeness. AND GUYS PLEASE STOP POSTING IN HERE. This contest is OVER. We Will announce the winner when we decide on one, we have lives... _________________ Ded. D-e-d |

^ What he said - the submission phase is over. I wouldn't expect to see any more posts here until the winner is announced.
If you've got "issues", take them to PM, or start a thread elsewhere.
OK ?

Nice of you to completely skip over Ian's reply there, dingus.
People, no more replies in this thread until someone judging/responsible for this contest posts. _________________

Shouldn't the winners name made public first?
I mean, it's fun that the winners know, but it would be fun for the rest of us to know who actually won. _________________

Well, yeah, I'd like to know who won too ... and what it was about their MOC that helped them win. A "debrief" from the judges is pretty much mandatory for these sorts of competitions, isn't it ?

Well done, winners! And many thanks to all who participated; we saw some great entries, and larger number of entries than I would have expected. Congratulations to all of you for stepping up.
And now I want you guys to promise me something. Promise that you'll keep building after this contest is forgotten. The possibility of free LEGOs should not be your only motivation. Build cuz it's fun. Because it's different. Didn't win this time? Oh well. Keep building! It's the only way to improve at anything you do. _________________

Nice choices guys, and congrats to all the winners - there were some very nice MOCs in there. And I'd like to echo Schism's post - let's get building !
I'd personally like to see this particular competition re-run about every 6 months or so (but a little bit better organised next time, OK ? )
I had a starfighter I was working on for this competition, but ran out of time due to work pressures ... I'd like a chance to pitch it into the next one, if that's OK

Congratulations Neyo! Congrats as well to Daz, Barbarossa, Pale Man, Darth C, Nash and everyone else who entered. This was an exciting competition and I hope that all of the entries inspire others to break out the bricks and get building. _________________

The only reason I misinterpretted was this was all that you wrote You didn't ask me if it looked ok or anything. It sounded like an "automated response".
Sorry for starting flaming against myself _________________ )2eady? "A Royale with cheese"

Well, let me second that! The MOCs should keep on coming, especially now that you guys have seen many different building techniques for different kinds of ships.
Congrats to Neyo for his win, and to Darktide for the close second place IMHO. Thumbs up to those who also received honorable mentions.
Keep on building ! _________________
